@Rufy_King - I fear I must tell you that CBusAlex's work falls just without the period of eligibility (again Dec 2016 thru Nov 2017.) The History of House Flatnefr - A wiki-style AAR started Dec. 1st 2017. Please feel free to add another or edit your vote in any other way, but I cannot count a vote for this work at this time. In December, however...look forward to it. :)

Well...if not now maybe not ever.

I know the weight is important but it has necessarily made this man very unsure, since I enjoy what I enjoy and look for the best in all I pursue.

I.e I can be really cruising along with any story but then comes a chapter/s that, in-keeping with the times, they need to pen soft-porn and frankly I detest the stuff. Some folks may think that prudish, or a silly taboo but after many years of accepting that seat of the willing voyeur, when it comes to entertainment of all types...I see it as completely unneeded pursuit in the act of creation. Some things are sacred. Not an attack, just an honest admission, or in modern-lingo...my centandahalf.

A general comment I should make and like the above is not a slam but simply a thought; I really enjoy Epic-tales but I have found that when several writAARs I am following begin posting massive epic-updates at the same time? Well, good-golly-miss-molly I start rapidly losing the ability to stay with one, some or all. Not sure what the answer is but just thought I should mention that difficulty, because it does seem to manifest in more than one explanation, as in I am sick (running a fever now) but whenever I read these award-threads, many folks appear to be saying the same thing but describing their hurdles with the word...time. Again, no complaint from me, just a heads-up to all the great storytellers I have read here. And yes my health does make this worse than typical but I think it still applies.

Before getting to my list , I should say I decided to spread the love around the best I could. So what does that translate to? I’m not saying, it’s bad enough it has already scrambled my own brain, I sure as heck am not about to risk harming any other person’s certified scales & measures.:D

Alas. This YAYA's validity period has been cruel to my favourite HoI AARs, but there SHALL be revenge next YAYA! ;)
Indeed it is the cruel fate of timelines but we must structure it in some way. My hope is that these works will be remembered come this time in December 2018 (and that I or someone else may run another awAARds round at that time.) :)

And to all - do not lose this chance. Great voting numbers but we can always use more. If you wish to edit, add or now vote - this is the time to do it. 11 days left so get them in. :D

I have for various reasons disappeared a tad from AARland the last month and may continue to be inactive for some more time, but it is still very much my intention to get a ballot posted.:) Good on all those who have already posted their ballots, and also well done to you who are working on yours!:)

Excellent to hear, @Macke11! I know it is a time investment (and I hope yours frees up some so you may join back with us on a more regular basis) but it would be wonderful to include your vote knowing how well read you have been for this last year.

And I think all of our placeholders have now finally given vote except perhaps our good friend @ThaHoward (though to be fair, it was more of a promise to vote than a place holder. ;)) There remain 9 days to get a ballot in, so do not wait.

There are a couple of voters that I have yet to count because it seems they are still filling their ballots out. No problem there, but again...9 days left. Now rather than later would be the watch words. :D

Finally, I just want to thank all who have given vote so far. I did not know how well this would find participation and though it would be grand to have so many more, I think we have seen some good numbers. More would of course be appreciated, but as of this date, we have a fairly good representation across the larger AARland. Prior to announcing the winners, I will give comment on exactly how I have done the accounting and offer some figures to see how many voted, and within each winner announcement, I will be sure to include all works that gained a vote and from which game. I will say at this time that CKII is very well represented by not just votes but so too by those who voted. HoI (in its many forms) probably comes next, but I've not done an official tally. I say again to all - please feel free in these last days to suggest these awards within your own thread. It need not be a plea to vote for your own work, but rather a suggestion to join your voice to these others that have already offered their ballot. The more included, the better the results. :)

Again...9 more days! :D

Don't worry, I'll do during Easter.

Much honoured, particularly since I enjoy your own work so much, but alas I think I cannot compete in this YAYA edition, having restarted my old AAR a little too late. I promise I'll try to earn the nomination next year!
Shoot! Good catch @AtlanticFriend (you would likely know.) Shows that even I may miss something from time to time. I suppose another amended ballot is suggested @Wraith11B. Still a week left to go so please feel free to adjust and vote for some others if you wish but I won't be able to count AtlanticFriend's (as much as I may wish - it is an old favorite of mine that am so pleased to see return!)

And to all others - indeed, just ONE MORE WEEK left to vote as of today. A week from tomorrow is Easter Sunday (April 1) and while I will be to church in the morning, in the afternoon I will begin the final tabulations with results to follow. :) Don't miss your chance to participate and reward so many great writAARs and AARs. They and I would love to hear your voice!

@AtlanticFriend @coz1

Oh dear, I'm terribly sorry! I assumed that since the original start date was well in the past that it would qualify. My apologies.

EDIT: So updated.

No worries. It fooled me too. Time plays tricks on us all. ;) Definitely worthy when the vote comes this coming December. :)

And now 6 days left to vote! :p I am telling you...don't wait. Do it now. :D

There are some gaps in this, a few very short lived AARs that burned like a supernova before fizzling out and I haven't see a single Let's Play so didn't even list them, but I have at least managed to vote this time.

And so I managed in time!:D I do have spots to fill in, but other than the addition of a couple, this is very close to my final ballot. At several instances it was a close call, but ultimately I had to rank certain AARs above others, even though I think neither should be valued less. My sincere thanks to all of the authAARs below for your incredible content - certainly, to all other writAARs as well - and to the fans that keep them posting!:)

Excellent to see another vote @Seven Sulivin! Thank you, sir. You count as our 20th voter if my tally is correct. :)

And now there are only 3 days left including today. I really mean it that every vote will count as I don't mind telling you that there are some very close races (in fact, we had ourselves a tie a few days ago just before some recent votes.) Get your vote out there and give word to your favorites as it will definitely tell in the results. :D
