Regarding Hungary, could you make their succession law primogeniture in later start dates when Hungary and Croatia are unified? Right now they always splinter on succession which is historically wrong. P.S. I like that Hungary and Croatia are unified in one empire now which should facilitate historical outcome.

Just to be sure you didn't want it to be to long for time on your side being busy and all? If your cutting the length out of fear of losing our attention then I'm genuinely scared paradox is losing touch with its fans :p

Yes, because it takes time writing these things, and I am writing 5 of them this week.

@Snow Crystal will holding a Titular Caliphate Empire give you a claim on the duchy-level caliph title that determines religious head? I know you didn't have time to bring in opposing caliphs, but this would be a nice lower-effort compromise

So, I noticed that Duke Boleslaus's brother Wenceslaus hasn't been made a saint yet. Is this an event that's going to be triggered later?

Can you please rename kingdom of germany into kingdom of Deutschland? The Name deutsch was first used by italians for otto and his men when they crossed the alps.
At least when you have the "Culture titels name" enabled, I woud really appreciate that.

Because we never refered to ourselve as germans nor have we ever called our country germany

Then play the game in German localisation. In English the country is called Germany.

@Snow Crystal I'm just wondering how is the border between Bulgaria and Byzantium determined. AFAIK Philippopolis which is shown inside Byzantium remained in Bulgarian hands until 970/971. I don't know about the other counties but I think that the one in East Thrace between Adrianople and Constantinople that is shown inside Bulgaria would be actually Byzantine? And could you please elaborate on those baronies you've mentioned? Thanks!

Please tell me Bohemia isn't part of a De Jure empire with Germany.

I was refering to the "Cultural titels name" rule which changes a titels name when it is occupied by someone of a speific culture into how it was called by that culture.
Swedens name for example is changed into how it is called in swedish when ruled by someone of norse or swedish culture to reflect how they woud call it. I don't mind if the kingdom is called germany when it is hold by someone of english or french culture, but a king of german culture woud not have called himselfe king of germany.

Where are the Geats? Why are the Swedes controlling Östergötland? I don't know about the details of the 10th century, but I thought Sweden was consolidated significantly later than that.

Edit: Of course, I have the same question about the 867 start.

Dang Snow Crystal, I'm hoping you're getting paid extra for writing all of this!

I can't believe we're getting so much flavorful content, for *free*!

I know what you mean, but I must repeat. If you want to play as Deutschland, play in German localisations. In English version of the game the names are in English, with only few exceptions. And even the "Cultural names" are ones used or known in English... or names of culturaly/religiously different entities. Deutschland isn't the case.

Hungary if ruled by Hungarian king is called Hungary, not Magyarország, Bohemia is Bohemia, not Čechy, Byzantium is Byzantium, not Basileia Rhomaion, Scotland is Scotland, not Alba... why should Germany be exception?
So either use German localisations, or play SWMH mod from HIP, which uses these cultural localisations everywhere

Those exceptions also include Sweden being named Svea Rike when ruled by a Swede, because Paradox is biased like that. ;)

Catholic feudal Sweden is Sweden, not Svea Rike. Hence Catholic feudal Germany should be Germany, not Deutschland. If Germany was tribal and pagan, it might make sense to have it as Deutschland - although I think it should still be better as Germany
