Converter fails. I tried to run the converter directly using ImperatorToCK3Converter.exe, and it gave me this error:
Code:
Failed to create CoreCLR, HRESULT: 0x80004005

It looks like a .NET Core error, I don't understand what might be the problem.
Indeed, I can't really help you with this. Try installing latest Windows updates and rebooting the computer. What is your Windows version? Is it 32 or 64 bit?
Or is anyone else having this error?

very much appreciated
The release with the fix is already up.

This is weird, your playset looks correct. Do other mods work for you? For a start I suggest verifying CK3 game files to be sure it's not a broken game installation.
It's still not working. I've tried Apotheosis mod and it worked via Steam workshop. I've verified both game files, nothing was wrong. After that I deleted Crusader Kings III folder in my Documents to create a new one when I reopen the game. Still couldn't make it work. Can you help me again? Sorry to take so much of your time. I'm using the new version by the way.

I could convert the game successfully, though ck3 warned me, that it couldn't convert some cultures.

IIRC there have been problems with mods when the Documents folder was not on C: disk, and you have it on D:. You should try changing the Documents location to C: disk.

I think these are new Invictus cultures, I'll probably add mappings for them soon.

Release 4.3.0 up.

Features

  • Output ruling dynasty CoAs
  • Give Iceland to hermits if bookmark year is earlier than 874
  • Add missing culture mappings for Invictus

Fixes

  • Fix some name equivalency errors from error.log
  • Fix RakalyCaller.GetJson sometimes returning an empty string

Help please, I cannot make the game run with the converted mod; for some reason it converts succesfully and the game goes well in the main menu, but when I try to start the game with the mod, it keeps on loading and it never starts, here is the txt and the save game.
I do not use any mods both in CK3 and Imperator btw.

How long did you wait? You probably need to wait longer. I know it can take a lot of time, but it's the way it is with CK3 writing a lot of irrelevant log errors about characters born before 1 AD. It will load slowly until I add more aggressive purging of Imperator characters.

Getting a lot of " missing culture" events when opened in CK3 - which otherwise works fine (except for me forgetting to convert to monarchy/empire, so I cant continue the game). Also, are there any plans to add bloodlines to the converter?

Thanks for the wonderfull work :)

recent patch did something
Getting a lot of " missing culture" events when opened in CK3
Thanks for the reports, both issues should be resolved in latest release.
(except for me forgetting to convert to monarchy/empire, so I cant continue the game)
If you know basic modding, you could manually change the government type in title history in the generated mod.
Also, are there any plans to add bloodlines to the converter?
No plans ATM.

Converted a save and the Seleucids got converted into the Persian Kingdom
Not sure what's the problem? From your save:

The ruling dynasty is not Seleucid.

How are subject currently transfered to CK3, and is there a difference between i.e. client states, satrapies, feudatories?
Thanks for bringing up this topic. Currently the tributary relations aren't transferred. I guess we should convert them as vassals with different contracts and rights. What do you think?

Yea that would be ideal! I suppose feudatories would be the most 'general' subject to carry over.. perhaps other subject types - satrapies, client states, tributaries, colonies and mercenary states - could be transfered with feudal contracts? i.e tributaries without levies obligation, or mercenary states as marches?

Anyhow: the attached safe file doesnt convert my own title (kingdom of macedon), and all subjects in imperator (mine and other country's) seem to all go independent. Plus, even small subject states with maybe 10 territories convert as independent kingdom titles. What am I doing wrong?

Imho there's not a good match for 1:1 link between Imperator tributaries/client states etc.. and ck3 feudal mechanism. Probably options should be added to let the user decide. I would prefer the current mechanism.
