I had some time to go figure out which mod was causing the game to completely crash...... and it's indeed this one. My playlist had 150+ mods (which includes mods, maps, assets, and whatever else counts as mods) and after going through everything and building a "fail safe" mod set to test.... this was the culprit. I removed it from my "big" playlist, and the game loaded in an existing city without any issue.

Suggestion: unsubscribe until mod maker comes back from his vacation. :)

The mod has been updated to be compatible with the new version of the game. There is also a new option to add variation to tourists and commuters from outside connections by day of the week. With these options, your city will have more tourists on the weekend and more commuters from outside connections on weekdays. Commuters from outside connections can also come to your city by plane (the vanilla game did not allow that to happen by plane)I also fixed the bug that was showing not enough customers at commercial buildings at night

I have to correct myself, businesses no longer pay taxes with the mod, the setting was 7-day week, the day displayed was Wednesday. With the setting 'every day the same' - the same error.

This could be a conflict with another mod. Are you using the PBIAO mod? There has been report of a similar issue when this mod and that mod are used together

No, I don't use the mod, and I never have. Since the ECO2.0 update, I no longer use any mods that change the economic data, as it is no longer necessary.
Did you notice this issue both at night and during the day? This should not happen during the day, but during the night this will be expected. This is how I'm solving the issue with the "not enough customers" notification, from 11pm to 6am, companies do not pay taxes because they also don't have revenue. But they should pay taxes during the day.

I have noticed too that taxes from commercial are pretty much zero apart from Connvience Food which is still either drawing a subsidy or producing revenue depending where I had the tax meter set.

I do remember in CS1 with the Real Time mod revenue could jump up and down quite a bit with the 24 hour cycle UNLESS you had Tourism and Leisure districts going which were 24 hours and helped generate revenue at night.

Currently my game is at night so will spin the simulator through to day and see if revenue is generated again.

So, I tested again, here is my mod overview:

The time displayed is in 24 hour mode, but I also tested it in 12 hour mode.
