Sorry had something unexpected and I talked to Happycats early in the morning my time. I’ll have to catch up on the thread wasn’t paying too much as an observer.

I was just going over people who have made claims in the thread, or had claims made about them. I have no idea what remains of the JL..at least, I think Cyms was part of it. Not sure.
What is it that makes you think Cyms was JL?

Also, did you spot any claims I didn't list in my post above and hence had missed?

Also, given how close we are to parity, then now would be the time to claim in thread if you have any major stuff that you've used and got a result from.
I am a very likely hunt target anyway, so I will share everything I have. I have no roles or traits myself, but alxeu shared all her spy reports with me.

First was mine:

You strike up a conversation with Cymsdale. As you talk you get the sneaking suspicion that, that Cymsdale is hiding something. And you know what that something is! You are sure without a shadow of a doubt that Cymsdale is in fact . . . A bear! A bear who wants to steal the honey of your gnome village! The wild one must be stopped! The DM calls for a perception check and you roll a 15, a high enough roll to tell you that you are clearly not talking to a bear, but instead you are talking to Gizzo, the half-halfling/half-tiefling/half-gelatinous-cube barbarian/bard. Does Gizzo hide no secrets? Or did you miss something? Either way Gizzo seemed to find this whole interaction quite amusing and perhaps further conversations would reveal more. You also learned that Gizzo is writing a song that can be played as he uses his instrument as a bludgeon to beat his enemies. Gizzo considers this his magnum opus.

She insisted that this meant I was a doctor (I assure you I'm not). Because bear=druid=healer. I don't really know what to make of it honestly, as I said I'm just a villager.

She also scanned MAW (a lot good that does us now):

You corner MAWofdoom on the way into the next town and convince him to go with you to the tavern. You find him to be a surprisingly easy fellow to talk to. 1 round of drinks in and he's regaling you with stories of the evils he fought. He is two mugs deep into a story about a lich he hunted when some niggling thing in the back of your mind sticks out. You turn to him and say, "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" MAWofdoom smiles and says, "Well, of course. Once, I got to the lich's lair I was able to use my magic to charm it into handing over its phylactery to me. After destroying that it was as simple as striking it down with my poisoned blade. I had to destroy much of its accursed artifacts, but I was able to reclaim some magical items to help me continue my quest." You continue the conversation, sure that there was something wrong in what was said there.

Finally a spy report on Yakman:
Hailing from a strange race of yak-like humanoids, the Yakman mostly keeps to himself. He will answer the questions you ask, but mostly keeps himself to short answers.
"Where are you from?"
"Far away."
"What's your home like?"
"Better than this."
"Do you have any friends waiting for you?"
"Yes."
Finally, you try your luck with a more decisive question.
"What's your goal?"
The Yakman seems to think for a moment, before answering the question in a way that you can detect no hint of subterfuge.
"To get back."

Yakman was made aware of all this yesterday. Take from that what you will.

I was the seer's first scan, MAW was second.

Caillean initially suggested using Flockingbird to out MAW (she thought she read as a goodie), but pivoted to alxeu after she said she scanned me (I guess I got scanned a lot this game, that's a bit unusual for me).

I didn't share Caillean's identity with anyone which is why I believe her being hunted was just bad luck.

I think that's everything.

We started 18 players, 7 have died, meaning we have 11 players remaining.
3 of which are baddies as per the psychic scan. That means that we have one or two days to parity.
I'll cover the rest of what you're saying in more detail, but for this specifically we have three days to parity, assuming 3 baddies is right, they have no shots, and no more ties happen. Parity is when six players are left, we lose two a day, so after 1 day 9 players left, after 2 7 players left, and after 3 5, and that's when we'd reach parity. Again, assuming all that I said and that we don't lynch any baddies.

Also, given how close we are to parity, then now would be the time to claim in thread if you have any major stuff that you've used and got a result from.
You are a wolf plant

Sorry all; I have been really busy these past few days and I totally forgot the game existed, which hurt the village.

Reactions:
Apologies for not getting to the game earlier. Lots of activity for a small number of players guess all the chatty ones played this one minus me who usually has a lot of activity.

Alxeu is a girl?

Sorry! Didn't know though in fairness I rarely check people's profiles.

Coming into a game as an observer is somewhat a disorienting experience.

Day 1 seemed like normal shenanigans nothing really seems out of the ordinary. Day 2 Maw was outed but I feel like I missing a bit of the game before the outing hard to place where the "action" was but Maw gained momentum beforehand JL at work? Day 3 had an interesting set of events play out, Randy and Ike seem to be the chosen candidates of the day but Ark came in at the end for reasons I'm not too sure about hard to get a hindsight perspective. Ike was seemingly cleared but no reason given. Feels like something is off.

Knee jerk reaction to reading the thread I'm leaning villager on Cym and don't have much read on anyone else. The hard to read players are still in the game.

As for my vote my usual day 4/5 target has been lynched sooooo, not really sure. Aedan has scanned Wagon giving them both more villager cred. Beartjah claiming psychic and posting results seems more villagerish than wolfish, certainly not ironclad but I'd prefer to go after more likelier targets. I can't ever read Deo. Randy was in contention yesterday still could be a wolf but players there are still remaining players who have not been candidates. Leaving Flock, Marty, and Yakman. Of those Flock who is newish I believe has a lot of activity and seems be trying to figure out the game but also did so as a wolf. Marty is seemingly absent which isn't usual, but I know he mentioned low activity. Of course, Yakman is Yakman, though he seems to be offering a modicum of analysis which isn't too usual for him. Whether that's goodie tell or a baddie tell is a different matter altogether.

Seems reasonable one of the three would be wolves and Wombat voted for Marty yesterday.

Let's get back to this for a bit.

I still think it likely Cymsdale leaked information to the wolves. It seems, at the very least, likely. Especially given the no-reason vote on me today, and yesterday as well.

But not getting traction, and I want to get back to the question of what the hell happened yesterday.

Sure, I brought up an alternative to myself. Survival is the game, I played it. But that doesn't mean the village had to follow. And three people did. One of them was Alxeu, the other two were Aedan and Ike.

Ike was visibly uncomfortable with having to choose. Why the discomfort? As a villager you don't really know what these people are, so you can have an argument for or against someone. But that's not what happened. Did he know he was choosing between two villagers?

Then again, a wolf could have kept his/her mouth shut.

And we have Aedan. Renowned for analysis power, one of the best players in the game. Why follow onto Arkansas with basically no case? He sure didn't say "I think Randy is innocent" either... And he knew the risks of such a move elsewhere.

Today I am the easy scapegoat. Lynch me if you must. But remember what I said today. My main suspects right now are Cymsdale and Aedan. I may be wrong, but these are the movers and shakers of the past.

Everything you wrote here convinced me my vote is correct and I will not be changing it today.

Looks like we must avoid a tie today at all costs. If we are 3 days away from parity, a tie might lose us a day. Worst case if we are 2 days away, then a 2-way tie would make a really difficult vote tomorrow if wrong, or a larger one could end the game. I think we lynch one person. I don't think I'll be around at the deadline (I will technically be at work but hopefully I will be asleep) but people who are will need to make a decision. I'll make a vote later.

I'll take a similar approach to wagon and try to throw down my thoughts on everyone. We've got:

Cyms
Randy
Flock
Wagon
aedan
Culann 2.0
marty
Deo
Ike
Yakman
wagon
myself

Let's first throw out the people that I think are bad candidates for today:

Wagon got seer-scanned by aedan, which puts the both of them low on my suspect list: I doubt wolf!aedan would share such a semi-clearing scan result/info publically just like that, and from what I've seen in the past he doesn't seem to be the ballsy kind of player that would fake a scan result.

Culann's(wambat's) vote for MAW early in day 2 also leaves him low on the suspect list.

Obviously, I don't think I myself am a good candidate.

That leaves us with:

Cyms
Randy
Flock
marty
Deo
Ike
yakman

From this:
Yakman is unreadable as always, and is hard-tunneling ike. He does have a spy report on him (as per cymsdale, claiming it came from alxeu)
Now let's look at the trait description for the villager role:
Adventurer (Villager): A standard adventurer searching for a way out of the world of the Forgotten Realms.
And consider that the roleplay-context of the game is that we're a bunch of DnD players that got trapped in the game-world and are trying to get out. Seems to heavilt hint at villager with yak trying to get "back". It might be useless fluff relating to the yak-folk people (yes, that's apparently a thing in DnD) living on a remote mountain, but I'm leaning towards villager here. I think this is about as close to a 'vill-tell' as we're going to get with the yak.

Marty is either lying low, zombie'ing through the game or both. He's got a no vote on day 1, an early vote on cyms day 2 and a throwaway on day 3. Utterly unreadable to me.

ike: I don't buy wagon's argument that he is an unlikely wolf because he was run up on the same day as MAW. 'Multiple wolves run up on the same day' is a fairly common occurrence, and not always within the power of the wolves to stop.
Ike got pushed up every single day, but never actually got lynched.
On day 1, ike was pushed to 2 late in the day by the yak. However, by that point in time the room had already decisivly shifted towards "let's lynch a zombie" so this didn't really put him in any real danger.
On day 2, he got (rightfully) run up over his tie creation. He was in the lead when he got saved by the bell though the outing against MAW.
On day 3, he was constantly tied or a bit behind randakar throughout most of the day IIRC. Randakar did make attempts on ike during his flip-flop-self-save, but those didn't go anywhere beyond the people that were already voting ike. He then finally broke a tie between randakar and arkasas.
He's getting hard-tunneled by yakman, and also soft-tunneled by flockingbird, and those 2 votes are enough to always put him in a risky position every day. I'll also note that outside the day 1 tie (which does look bad for him), the rest of his activity doesn't really feel truly damning to me. This leaves me somewhat concerned people might just see a lot of activity, decide one bit of it looks sus for whatever reason and push him up again. His day 1 vote still leaves me with a sour taste, but I'd prefer we look at other people today and don't run him up again. We can come back to this later once we've got more info on others.

dedonus: had a rather bad case formulated by aedan on day 2, and then pushed on day 3. I suppose 'got pushed up based on bollocks' might speak every so slightly in his favour, but I'm not sure if that is sound logic. His voting record is doesn't really say anything either:
Day 1: joined the "let's lynch a zombie" team by pointing out that all the "let's lynch a zombie" attention was on IH and then pushed for marty, to then break a tie in an unfortunate manner.
Day 2: Early vote on yakman, which got nowhere and he hadn't moved elsewhere by the time the outing came.
Day 3: throwaway vote on flockingbird. He was online late enough to know that flockingbird had well and truly fallen out of favour (in fact, he made the votecount showing this).
Still hard to really get a decent read on him. Though the lack of any meaningful vote after day 1 does speak against.

flockingbird: Seems to be landing on ike a lot. Other than that not really a good idea what to make of her. Appears to be the newbie having a hard time figuring out anything. But then I recall the game I GM'd a while ago on here where she was a wolf, and played the role of 'clueless newbie villager' so well that even I as GM wasn't sure what was acted and what was real. Don't think the voting record really says much beyond that she and ike are unlikely packmates.

cyms: Claims alxeu has a spy report on him (I'm quoting cymsdale here):
"You strike up a conversation with Cymsdale. "
Beyond 'cymsdale is not a bear' I don't think this really says anything. Feels like one the 'useless fluff' reports that the spy trait can give? Alxeu seemed to trust cymsdale, which does count for something, but I'm not convinced the spy report alone really does it.
Looking at the voting record: he was the one the started the runaway by giving a 4th vote on ironhide when the other candidates (including MAW) were on 2. Though as I noted earlier is can easily be a vill trying to force activity.
Then on day 2(pre-outing) he placed a vote on wombat based on some very wonky logic and got pushed up as a result. Day 3 he voted randy. This voting record is not ideal, but also not damning.

And then we've got randy: I believe yesterday was mostly randakar up on 4, with the trailing candidates not going anywhere until randy's flip-flopping found a candidate that worked to get him out of trouble. In this flip-flopping he threw out some rather faulty logic, seemingly caring more about finding a scapegoat rather than actually trying to find a wolf. And his attempt at hunt-analysis to argue the JL is infiltrated is just bad. The goodie randy I know tends make sense in his arguments, he he currently really does not. And of course his day 2 behaviour, which might've been an attempt to help MAW before he was outed, also remains.

My current suspect list is:
ike/randy feel sus
marty/dedonus/flockingbird do not really have much workable info on them.
cyms maybe?
maybe maybe yakman if I'm misreading the spy report.
Culanv2 only if we get a reason to believe his day 2 vote was an alibi

While I wouldn't be opposed to any of marty/randy/dedo/flock today, I think the main problem atm is that we've got a bunch of people that we don't really know anything about.
As such, I'll join the push on flockingbird just get someone in the running we otherwise know very little about.

VOTE FLOCKINGBIRD

I'll cover the rest of what you're saying in more detail, but for this specifically we have three days to parity, assuming 3 baddies is right, they have no shots, and no more ties happen. Parity is when six players are left, we lose two a day, so after 1 day 9 players left, after 2 7 players left, and after 3 5, and that's when we'd reach parity. Again, assuming all that I said and that we don't lynch any baddies.
The wolves could ahve brutal too, though. So we should expect that we need to find a wolf tonight.

Yeah, that's my read too.
Smells really much like traitless villager.

ike: I don't buy wagon's argument that he is an unlikely wolf because he was run up on the same day as MAW. 'Multiple wolves run up on the same day' is a fairly common occurrence, and not always within the power of the wolves to stop.
As wiolves you generally can bring up cunter candidates. Ike and Maw were up for a long whiel before teh outing, without really any pushes to get others up there. That's reckless of wolves, and while you can't always stop a runup, you generally can try and steer things elsewhere. So I think Ike and Maw are unlikely to be in teh same pack, as and as have only one pack this game...

Beyond 'cymsdale is not a bear' I don't think this really says anything. Feels like one the 'useless fluff' reports that the spy trait can give? Alxeu seemed to trust cymsdale, which does count for something, but I'm not convinced the spy report alone really does it.

Cyms claims to have been scaned by Caillean too.
And Alxeu was pretty clear on Cyms not being a baddie.
So I think he, for the time being at least, shoudl be considered unlikely baddie.

Also, villagers, as things are drawing to a close, then lets focus on a couple main candidates today.
I propose we focus on Randy and Flock.
