Sorry had something unexpected and I talked to Happycats early in the morning my time. I’ll have to catch up on the thread wasn’t paying too much as an observer.
What is it that makes you think Cyms was JL?I was just going over people who have made claims in the thread, or had claims made about them. I have no idea what remains of the JL..at least, I think Cyms was part of it. Not sure.
News to me! (I'm a dude.)Also, Cyms a lady as well?
Seems I've really misgendered people throughout the years.![]()
I am a very likely hunt target anyway, so I will share everything I have. I have no roles or traits myself, but alxeu shared all her spy reports with me.Also, given how close we are to parity, then now would be the time to claim in thread if you have any major stuff that you've used and got a result from.
You strike up a conversation with Cymsdale. As you talk you get the sneaking suspicion that, that Cymsdale is hiding something. And you know what that something is! You are sure without a shadow of a doubt that Cymsdale is in fact . . . A bear! A bear who wants to steal the honey of your gnome village! The wild one must be stopped! The DM calls for a perception check and you roll a 15, a high enough roll to tell you that you are clearly not talking to a bear, but instead you are talking to Gizzo, the half-halfling/half-tiefling/half-gelatinous-cube barbarian/bard. Does Gizzo hide no secrets? Or did you miss something? Either way Gizzo seemed to find this whole interaction quite amusing and perhaps further conversations would reveal more. You also learned that Gizzo is writing a song that can be played as he uses his instrument as a bludgeon to beat his enemies. Gizzo considers this his magnum opus.
You corner MAWofdoom on the way into the next town and convince him to go with you to the tavern. You find him to be a surprisingly easy fellow to talk to. 1 round of drinks in and he's regaling you with stories of the evils he fought. He is two mugs deep into a story about a lich he hunted when some niggling thing in the back of your mind sticks out. You turn to him and say, "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" MAWofdoom smiles and says, "Well, of course. Once, I got to the lich's lair I was able to use my magic to charm it into handing over its phylactery to me. After destroying that it was as simple as striking it down with my poisoned blade. I had to destroy much of its accursed artifacts, but I was able to reclaim some magical items to help me continue my quest." You continue the conversation, sure that there was something wrong in what was said there.
Hailing from a strange race of yak-like humanoids, the Yakman mostly keeps to himself. He will answer the questions you ask, but mostly keeps himself to short answers.
"Where are you from?"
"Far away."
"What's your home like?"
"Better than this."
"Do you have any friends waiting for you?"
"Yes."
Finally, you try your luck with a more decisive question.
"What's your goal?"
The Yakman seems to think for a moment, before answering the question in a way that you can detect no hint of subterfuge.
"To get back."
I'll cover the rest of what you're saying in more detail, but for this specifically we have three days to parity, assuming 3 baddies is right, they have no shots, and no more ties happen. Parity is when six players are left, we lose two a day, so after 1 day 9 players left, after 2 7 players left, and after 3 5, and that's when we'd reach parity. Again, assuming all that I said and that we don't lynch any baddies. We started 18 players, 7 have died, meaning we have 11 players remaining.
3 of which are baddies as per the psychic scan. That means that we have one or two days to parity.
You are a wolf plantAlso, given how close we are to parity, then now would be the time to claim in thread if you have any major stuff that you've used and got a result from.

What is it that makes you think Cyms was JL?
Also, did you spot any claims I didn't list in my post above and hence had missed?

Everything you wrote here convinced me my vote is correct and I will not be changing it today.Let's get back to this for a bit.
I still think it likely Cymsdale leaked information to the wolves. It seems, at the very least, likely. Especially given the no-reason vote on me today, and yesterday as well.
But not getting traction, and I want to get back to the question of what the hell happened yesterday.
Sure, I brought up an alternative to myself. Survival is the game, I played it. But that doesn't mean the village had to follow. And three people did. One of them was Alxeu, the other two were Aedan and Ike.
Ike was visibly uncomfortable with having to choose. Why the discomfort? As a villager you don't really know what these people are, so you can have an argument for or against someone. But that's not what happened. Did he know he was choosing between two villagers?
Then again, a wolf could have kept his/her mouth shut.
And we have Aedan. Renowned for analysis power, one of the best players in the game. Why follow onto Arkansas with basically no case? He sure didn't say "I think Randy is innocent" either... And he knew the risks of such a move elsewhere.
Today I am the easy scapegoat. Lynch me if you must. But remember what I said today. My main suspects right now are Cymsdale and Aedan. I may be wrong, but these are the movers and shakers of the past.
I wonder if all the people reacting laugh to that realize that I've actually basically run this.I told you the Dungeons and Daddies game was next week.
Now let's look at the trait description for the villager role:Hailing from a strange race of yak-like humanoids, the Yakman mostly keeps to himself.
And consider that the roleplay-context of the game is that we're a bunch of DnD players that got trapped in the game-world and are trying to get out. Seems to heavilt hint at villager with yak trying to get "back". It might be useless fluff relating to the yak-folk people (yes, that's apparently a thing in DnD) living on a remote mountain, but I'm leaning towards villager here. I think this is about as close to a 'vill-tell' as we're going to get with the yak.Adventurer (Villager): A standard adventurer searching for a way out of the world of the Forgotten Realms.
Beyond 'cymsdale is not a bear' I don't think this really says anything. Feels like one the 'useless fluff' reports that the spy trait can give? Alxeu seemed to trust cymsdale, which does count for something, but I'm not convinced the spy report alone really does it."You strike up a conversation with Cymsdale. The wolves could ahve brutal too, though. So we should expect that we need to find a wolf tonight.I'll cover the rest of what you're saying in more detail, but for this specifically we have three days to parity, assuming 3 baddies is right, they have no shots, and no more ties happen. Yeah, that's my read too.And consider that the roleplay-context of the game is that we're a bunch of DnD players that got trapped in the game-world and are trying to get out. As wiolves you generally can bring up cunter candidates. Ike and Maw were up for a long whiel before teh outing, without really any pushes to get others up there. That's reckless of wolves, and while you can't always stop a runup, you generally can try and steer things elsewhere. So I think Ike and Maw are unlikely to be in teh same pack, as and as have only one pack this game...ike: I don't buy wagon's argument that he is an unlikely wolf because he was run up on the same day as MAW. 'Multiple wolves run up on the same day' is a fairly common occurrence, and not always within the power of the wolves to stop.
Cyms claims to have been scaned by Caillean too.Beyond 'cymsdale is not a bear' I don't think this really says anything. Feels like one the 'useless fluff' reports that the spy trait can give? Alxeu seemed to trust cymsdale, which does count for something, but I'm not convinced the spy report alone really does it.
Looking at the voting record: he was the one the started the runaway by giving a 4th vote on ironhide when the other candidates (including MAW) were on 2. Though as I noted earlier is can easily be a vill trying to force activity.
Then on day 2(pre-outing) he placed a vote on wombat based on some very wonky logic and got pushed up as a result. Day 3 he voted randy. This voting record is not ideal, but also not damning.
Oh right, missed that bit. That does make him quite a bit less likely.Cyms claims to have been scaned by Caillean too.
And Alxeu was pretty clear on Cyms not being a baddie.
So I think he, for the time being at least, shoudl be considered unlikely baddie.
