I am currently playing for the Fatimid Egypt(administrative gov).
I can't find the “Search for Tax Collectors” decision, where is it?

Once you learn, where the code is generally located, instead of searching through hundreds of files, you only have to search a dozen or less.

I don't quite get what you are saying, because what I described there was a method to help you avoid having to search hundreds of files. :D Having to search even a dozen would be very rare, if it ever happens.

But, that being said, it's just one method. If it's helpful to someone, they can use it. But it's almost certainly not the best method there is. If someone already knows a better method, then they should keep using that one, of course. :)

Quite sure they do. Estates and houses don‘t matter by themselves, but only in the context of the polity they are a part of.

Takes me no more than 2 minutes to find the code I need in the moddable game files, because I learned the logic behind it. That's all I am saying.

Is there some event or decision (that AI could do) that causes Orthodox to lose the Ecumenism doctrine and thus become hostile to Catholicism? I don't know exactly when this happened but in my current game, that I started from 867, it did happen at some point around 1000, leading to holy wars, even a crusade against Bulgaria! Never seen this before, what happened?

Hello,

Trying to figure out how to continue a contract after stopping for provisions. I can view the contract but I can't see the counties that I need to visit (I already visited one of them.) it isnt showing up in the outliner or the notifications either. I really dont want to let the Basileus down!

It is rare for it to take even 30 seconds for me using my method.

Either way, everyone should look things up whatever way they want. If they enjoy doing it one way, or it gives them the most personal satisfaction, perhaps that is the most important thing regardless of how long it might take. :)
 
Apparently winning the Splintered Crusade doesn't give you an option to play as the person you give the Latin Empire too or did I miss something? I could get it for myself, but I'd rather give it to someone else who only had that title.

In addition to the Establish the Iconoclast Patriarchate decision previously mentioned, the "Mend the Great Schism" decision also removes the Ecumenism doctrine from the other Christian faiths.

Sorry for the bump, but after poking around and clicking and checking everything, I think it's impossible to see where the other stops are after stopping for provisions. I guess that's a bug? I can't imagine any gameplay reasons for it.

Wasn't this stickied before?

Anyway, my question is a little complicated: In the Iberian Struggle, there's an option called "Iberian Foothold" that lets me shut it down as an uninvolved ruler.

Is there anything comparable for the Iranian Intermezzo? I got the "Supporter of the Caliphate" trait when I nabbed the Empire of Arabia title, but I don't see any way to get my faith or culture involved. If I just conquer the whole region, will it end automatically? Or will I keep the trait forever?

Do the extra plagues from Hellenic Hard Mode (the decision to restore paganism to Roman Empire) still apply if the player disabled all plagues in the game rules?

EDIT: For anyone else who is curious, I tested it and yes you do still get plagues even with the game rule turning them off lol

How are you supposed to deal with factions now? Because most people on one love me (around 15 with +50 relations, 10 with 0~50 and 2 with negative) and their Faction Commitment is NEGATIVE for ALL of them, when it says they will leave with less than 5. Most are in the negative hundreds, and a couple are in the negative thousands. And yet they don't leave.

How do you deal with this now?
