Judaism, the color got changed. I'm double-checking now if we can change it again since it's a bit confusing in locations with Miaphysite pops also present.
Is Judaism just a religion? I thought you said it was a religion group
Also didn't you say you were ona flight?

The brighter colors of both wastelands and ocean tiles is producing unnecessary noise imo. It's a bit dizzying.
Also, the color of the sea tiles is bleeding through the market colors a lot more now, making it more difficult to see the transition on similar colored sea tiles.

I prefer the dark background without white lines, as shown in the Germany feedback map.

EDIT: I'd actually much more prefer a dark gray instead of pitch black.

No Persian Gulf, yay.
Are you being sarcastic? I literally can't tell.

Either way, they said that sea areas will get an overhaul once all the region reviews are done, so hopefully we will get a Gulf of Persia instead of these weird tiny sea areas

I hope Tribal Arab states get some kinda of government reform etc so that outsiders like Mamluks and Ottomans would prefer making them tributary etc instead of war declaration to prevent ahistorical conquest of Central Arabia by Ottomans or Mamluks every game since Ottomans wouldnt care if its control is zero or not there

Other Arab Monarchies in the region may attack them without penalty this only applies to outsiders like countries whose capital is outside Arabian Peninsula maybe

Ah i was so confused because it felt familiar but different.

I much prefer the dark background on market map mode

As I mentioned in the original Arabia thread, Zib is colloquial Arabic for a certain male body part. So you might want to respell it as Zi'b (this is more accurate to the actual word زعب) in order to steer clear of that. But it's not the end of the world.
Just changed it, thanks.

I know that the name Ormus is fine but still can you change it to Hormuz since that's what we are all used to and it's the base name on wikipedia please?

Just curious about the sand since I am genuinely just wondering, would this sand have actually been used for glassmaking? I was under the impression that desert sand was considered not suitable for glassmaking so seeing so much of it is a bit surprising. But I may be wrong on these areas.

EDIT: Also unsure how I feel about the changes to dates. That is a LOT of fruit in Arabia now.

I Saw in the world mat that the's a "line" of deep ocean sea tiles that goes from one end of the Arabian sea to the other, why? I thought that deep ocean tiles were used for sea lanes only
Also why is the Persian guld split in three areas instead of a single one?

Super happy to see the connecting corridor along the SE-coast!

But otherwise almost no topography changes (yet)?
Especially the hills along the Omani coast are imo too harsh, while the Yemen region needs a lot more mountains and hills.

There is also a need for several linear impassable ridges parallel to the Red Sea coast in Yemen area.

I'll just refer to my previous suggestion post here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/tinto-maps-17-6th-of-september-2024-arabia.1702377/post-29868271

EDIT: upon closer inspection there has been a full review, just not as mountainous as I'd like to see it I guess.

I actually prefer lighter colours for wastelands and sea because pitch black forces you to concentrate your gaze on it, and that's the part of the map you have no interest in.

If it causes dizziness to some people it could be light gray, but I really rather not have these huge splashes of black here.

When are you going to do the ones for the previous feedbacks?

I know that the name Ormus is fine but still can you change it to Hormuz since that's what we are all used to and it's the base name on wikipedia please?

The Wikipedia page on the kingdom actually calls it Ormus, with Hormuz as an alternate name, but I would still change it as everything else (the island of Hormuz, the straits of Hormuz, the town of Hormuz) uses 'Hormuz'.

For the whole 'Wikipedia standard' rule for naming that the devs are using, it's a good way of gauging some of the most well-known names, but it's worth considering that the titles of Wikipedia pages can be changed at any point by any person, and for rarely-visited pages the title was probably just made on a random whim by one person many years ago, and won't necessarily be the best option
