CONSTANT ctd on this date; we playing as orisa and viligajara...have not seen such persistant ctd in LONG time in the agceep mode:(

HOWEVER what happened is this(if can help):
junupur(my ally) was sieging the province "sindh"( bengal/orisa/junupr/gondwana in WAR versus singh and gujarat). constant ctd on same date while the siege was red. but the 4th attempt we made , junupur(even if my vassal) peaced sindh separatelly WITHOUT ending the siege of "sindh". upon doing so NO ctd happened again:confused:

This event ("The Traitor Hang Jebat" for Malacca) seems to not fire at all. It checks whether Hang Jebat is active starting on 2 March, but he "dies" on 28 Feb.
 
canary islands:

if gets captured by any nation(human played), the natives revolts constantlly even it says the agressivness is "none" set at 0:confused:
it is almost impossible to colonize it as a matter of fact, unless killing all natives first
 
Yes, it is wad. Ferocity value is 9 for the province in province.csv and Castile gets an event as soon as the province is owned but not controlled. See CAS_142026:
The conquest of the Canary Islands was initiated by a Norman noble, Jean de Bethencourt in 1403. He acknowledged the ownership of the islands by the King of Castile in exchange for their lordship. Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and Hierro were quickly conquered, and the authority of Bethencourt acknowledged in Gomera, but the three bigger islands were too much for his means. The rights of lordship were sold by his nephew Manciot Bethencourt to the Count of Niebla in 1418, and ended in the hands of the Peraza family in 1445. The hostility of the Guanche natives prevented any attempt of conquest of the other islands wether by Castilians or Portuguese. In 1447 an attempt of conquest by Guillén de Peraza at La Palma, ended in disaster, with Guillén being killed by a stone stroke. During all this time, Castilian and Portuguese slavers, as well as the Pedraza, were capturing children and young Guanches that were sold for a great profit in the Peninsula. This situation continued until 1478.

With day = 0, we could have a leader teleportation but...
 
Using my MacBook laptop (10.5.6) and the latest (I'm pretty sure) updates of both EU II and the AGCEEP, I can't get the game to begin a fantasy Byzantium scenario. After selecting the scenario and country (Serbia) and clicking 'start game,' I see a progress bar on the normal loading screen- when the bar shows ~90% complete, it stalls, then quits to a black window. An error message appears during the "Reading Scenario" stage:

Couldn't open file:AGCEEP\scenarios\Fantasy\Fantasy_Byzantium\db\monarchs\monarchs.byz

It doesn't seem to matter what country I select, or to be a question of brackets not being closed (I tried giving the first monarch a 500-year life and deleting the rest, but no dice).

What's wrong, do you think?

There is no bug involved and certainly an installation or Mac compatibility issue. Everything works fine with this scenario on the PC version.

Does the AGCEEP\scenarios\Fantasy\Fantasy_Byzantium\db\monarchs\monarchs.byz file exist? (without a space somewhere)
Are you really sure you use the last patch provided by the Mac developers of the game?

Maybe other Mac users could help.
 
I suppose it happened in 1472 but I don't find exact date or at least exact month for this "story" (old Malay folklore). See here or here.

I can't really find anything either. I might be in favor of axing it, as it doesn't really make sense to include mythical occurrences...(I could see still keeping the leader in some fashion as non-dormant, but this specific event seems unwarranted.)
