Hullo All,

In a previous post I requested help from a few volunteers in my ever-evolving project previously called "Great War 2.0" I am finishing off map, province and revolt information at the moment ( it takes me a while because don't use editor {don't ask}) and soon will be moving into the events scripting phase.

What my request is that a few (1-4 or so) people who have some interest in the project please reply here and also request a particular period to script for. I will do 1914 - 1919, and all other perods will go in 10 year bites ie: 1920-1929, 1940-1949 etc...

I will also send you a copy of the very much revised scenario aswell which you can use as a template to work from. If you have any other ideas please tell me. Also if no-one wants to help me i'll be sad. :(

We shall be using this as pot forum from now on hopefully

Hi guys,

I'm a scripting newbie, but with programming experience; that might help a bit...

...and am interested in your project. Any period is fine, best knowledge I have is of the first half of 20th century.
 
I'll help with 1929-39. Maybe 1939-1949 if no one wants it but I'm working one step at a time.
 
I want to play WW1 plus age or nationalism ends in 1914...

I think I shall begin the scenario after britain enters the war or maybe when germany set the schleflen plan in motion, giving British player the chance to avoid war...

pds is gonna do 1920-1929
phillip 1930-39
davewolf 1940-49

Though I am not sure how one can script for a war that ma not happen, ww2. Any ideas?
 
have events to tie in the birth of naz i germany for instance wall street crash allows u.s to decide whether to recall loan from germans or not. then an election for the german player. munich etc etc
 
lemme help with some revolters/vassals

Yucatan(Yucatan,Campece,CB on Guatamala)-till the 40's there were revolts in the yucatan area of mexico and theres an independence(non terrorism) movement going on today

Orange Free state(bushman)-the rebellions against south african rule lasted till the 50's in the orange free state

I was thinking of this. Might it be more efficient to just assign countries? Might save how many books I gotta get.;)
 
It's just this is an easier way when there are only 4 people...

Oh well if you insist give me a list of several countries you are willing to do, each person does 2 great powers and 4 minors okay?
 
Guys,

1940-1949 would be fine, if you still apply to the period approach.

Otherwise I'd like to choose Germany + well, whatever will be left... ;)


What's the procedure?

Posting all events (or at least the important ones) here, discussing (if necessary), then scripting or...

...doing the scripts seperately (without further discussions), then posting + discussing?

I guess the first approach, hm?
 
I think that we can use msn for this scenario and post updates here, we can tranfer new files etc... add me to your msn account and ill send you scenario. I added phillip and pds
