Re-lock option isn't working for me...
doesn't re-lock only work if you didn't originally select "unlock all tiles" when you start a city?

Re-locking tiles

The option to re-lock tiles is only available if 'unlock all tiles' is not selected, because (obviously) these two settings inherently conflict with each other; if you want to re-lock tiles you'll need to choose a different unlocking option.

When this option is selected any new maps will start with zero existing unlocked tiles, so you can choose and unlock your own starting tiles normally (if using this option the first nine tile unlocks are free).
 
Then please provide your logs - Player.log, Modding.log, 529 Tiles.log - and I'll take a look.
hey i have the same problem causing me the same problem but disabling the mod does not work, ill attach the player logs to this message.

Hello, I've redownloaded this mod multiple times and Im still having the same issue, I have the mod installed, and I have it in my options menu, but its just not there in game. My game is not loading the extra tiles, although the mod is in my game.

I'm not sure what your first screenshot is supposed to show? It doesn't show any locked tiles, for one - that's what you'd see when all tiles are unlocked.

Anyway, you're obviously using 'unlock all' to start that game; did you also choose 'unlock tiles'? What does your map tile view look like?
 
I don't know what's happened, but since that last update from CO, this mod is causing the game to lock up. The only other mods active are the various region packs that they've released, but when this mod is active, when I start the game, I get as far as the game menu and that's it.

Notifications show 'Mods loading' (which isn't moving at all and 'Virtual Texturing', whhich is stuck at 11%. The mouse cursor is the blue circle icon. If I turn this mod off, the lockup doesn't happen....

That's definitely unusual, especially since it's not happening to anybody else, and this mod doesn't do anything that would cause things to lock up on load (the mod only does things when you load into a save or start a new game) - so it sounds as though there's a specific issue with game loading on your install. I assume that you've verified your local game files, and checked that you're not just running out of memory due to the new game content being added?

Yeah, it's really weird. I've got 32G of RAM in my system, and I've got a memory monitor gadget running on another monitor; it doesn't show memory usage maxing out. I suppose something could be happening at a level where I can't see it. I'll try again when I get a chance with no region packs active (it would suck to not have those enabled in a build, though...) to see what happens there.
 
Are there any known reasons/conflicts that might cause this mod to remove all zoning cells from my city when I load in?
Happens with 529 enabled and conversely when disabled. Weird cos I aint seeing others having the issue so... :/

This was an issue with detailed descriptions mod which has since been updated.
