I'd say greek... it fits better as a natural border and Hungary should be satisfied with Ragusa :)
It's still dirt poor anyway.

Yep, this seems pretty logical to me.

Any ideas for changes there?

Actually, I don't like event at all, but perhaps that's just me.
I could look like this:
Option A: Tax them
+30 ducats, revolt in province
Option B: Remove the tax collector
Removes the tax collector

No overwhelming stab change and no extra permanent tax

Perm tax is fine, I would say, maybe +1 stab on option b and +1 tax on option a.

2 against 1..

or rather, you two might have a point.

Perm taxkillers should defo not be in a-option, since no human will choose them (or very rarely at least) so it is just an AI-whipper..

Too bad my first set of revisions for those events was ignored (longago now, first file I sent you)

Sorry about that, but that can happen.:(

Sorry for that, really. If you resend that, please.

I looked for it, but I think I have lost it. I guess I could try to make a new revision - I have a few minutes to spare for simple work this evening.

edit - not as worked on as the first one (less text changes etc), but take a look at it anyway?

You said earlier that the iberian eventfile made the game crash. I haven't tried the newest 'unofficial' version, but I looked through major_iberia.txt in the zip file.
It looks as it can make the game crash at start, because the events 200529-200531 appears at two different spots in the file.
I don't think they're meant to ;)

In more_random_events I think the last event about getting new coinage should have a trigger for inflation. Something like 10?

That might sound fair - but I'm not the designer of that event and looking at the existing triggers it seems like it is supposed to symbolize nations that doesn't know how to counteract inflation.. counteracting inflation..

IMO the event should be scaled down to -5 inflation but else it is ok (since you don't have governors you will likely have at least 5 inflation when you get it, and if you don't, well.. tough cookies, go with A)

Put those changes in.

Check.

Handsoff testing with latest Aberration public beta... only changes so far are to the generic colonial events.

Up to 1524. Not a single CTD (I reloaded once, because I was tweaking the colonial events). Eire has been going strong colonially, Genoa has just joined the race. Hansa has grabbed most of Northern Germany, Bavaria Southern and Central. The Ukraine started slow, but carved the Horde a new one. The T.O. are doing nicely, as are Granada and the Kaliphate. Most of the other countries are doing fair to middling, although Finland has been split between Muscovy and the UoK.

The suggested tweaks to colonial events are working nicely now :)
