So Sicily should be a vassal of Aragon? Then when did they completely annex it? And what about Sardinia?
On Sicily: I would prefer a royal marriage with Aragón instead of the vassalization (to simulate strong familiar ties). The two kingdoms were ruled by different branches of the same family, but they were completely independent. In 1401 died the last monarch of the branch of the Barcelona dinasty ruling Sicily: the queen Maria I. Maria had married the son of the king of Aragón, Martí I, who was going to become the new king of Sicily, but he died as well, so the kingdom went to his father and it was reincorporated to the crown of Aragón.
Darn! I realize that I've forgotten one king in the list of Sicily monarchs... I'll edit it in a moment...
On Sardinia: In 1297, following the treaty of Agnani, the pope gave the rights upon Sardinia to the king of Aragón, but the conquest began in 1323. The local nobility was allied with Pisa, opposed to the aragonese occupation of the island. All in all in 1337 the island was effectively under the crown of Aragón.
On Athenes & Neopatria: Another (important) thing I forgot (I don't know if you are aware of this): in 1337 there were still the duchies of Athenes and Neopatria (+ or - the Greece province of EU2) ruled by the
almogàvers (the mercenary army that "helped" Byzantium against the ottomans), who freely had put the lands under the sovereignity of Sicily. In 1357 Frederic III of Sicily traspassed his sovereignity upon these lands to his sister Elionor, wife of the king of Aragón, so the duchies of Athenes and Neopatria became a part of the kingdom of Aragón... only until 1390, when they were conquered by the florentines (the Acciaiuoli family).
Well, all in all, a true mess of relations, kings and territories
