As an outsider with no background in game design-I know it's a simple fix
Code:
If $Tourism=(low)
Then Make $Tourism=(high)

Bonus code
Code:
If $Game=(slow)
then Make $Game=(go_faster)

That simple ;)

Can you write some code like that to make people smarter (I mean real people, not sims)???

Oh do they? How many versions?
If a developer isn't actively unpublishing previous versions from the master branch, you can rollback to every old version.

GOG lets you also download offline installers too so you can basically archive every version too if you don't trust developers lol

If you want more info about this check: https://docs.gog.com/gc-rollback/

(offtopic: Screenshots like these remind me how bad the resolution of my PC monitor actually is. )

But, yay, this looks promising. Seems that it's actually gonna be released in Q4 this year! :D

CO, why aren't you hiring genius programmers like this person? You could have had all this fixed months ago! :)

Instead of working on content creator packs they should have been working on the issues and the DLC that were paid for!
Coincidence ore not? the content creator packs are pushed to Q4 (Christmas) and I bet they are not free!
The content creator packs have never been free, they were paid DLC in CS1 too! They literally exist to give creators a way to make some money.

Also, Colossal Order doesn’t make those packs. Content creators do, and the name literally shows that. The CO devs themselves are hard at work trying to improve the game.

I doubt it. They update things in the background for testing purposes and make sure people in the beta can see if the changes they asked are working and not game breaking. Doesn't mean it will be in Q4. Just that they are working on it and testing it in game.

Hello City Builders,

We wanted to take a moment to update you on the status of our upcoming releases. We know many of you are excited for new content, and we want to be transparent about where things currently stand.

The two Creator Packs — Modern Architecture and Urban Promenades — have been completed by their creators. While the Economy Patch, Detailers Patch, and Decorations Patch are all part of our commitment to improving the base game, we are well aware that the Asset Editor is one of the most crucial remaining features in fulfilling our promise to make mods fully available in-game. To ensure we don’t split our focus, we’ve made the decision to push the release of the Creator Packs to Q4. This will also affect the upcoming release of Bridges & Ports Expansion that will instead come in Q2 2025. We will continue dedicating our efforts to the base game before shifting focus to paid content. Our goal is to ensure the community is satisfied with the state of the game, and once we’ve achieved that, we’ll be excited to release these amazing packs to you!

/The Cities Team

For those interested, here is an update from Colossal Order and what they are currently dedicating their focus to:
If the expansion packs are done, just release them. Delaying them is pointless. Can't y'all just lock in and let the player base get their moneys worth?

Delays. And look, mister Frodo, more delays.

I personally would really like to receive the content I preordered and paid for. It is ready, release it. Beach assets could be released, so these assets can be too.
They don’t want to have to give them for free as happened with the previous, im sure that’s the reason!

Mods with GFN, please! Couldn’t you just put the mods in the launcher as other games do? Because this is the only game I can not use mods! Your platform was done so everyone could enjoy mods, and that really ironic to me …

Don't y'all just love how after this and the extreme negative feedback, we are now back to complete radio silence for almost a month?

Absolute shambles. This company is absolute shambles. I want my money back.

Don't worry, when they finally come back with new updates (or a tearful apology) much later, we'll be overflowing with overwhelmingly positive comments thanking them for their transparency and hard work. Then the critics will walk away feeling great with the"respectfully disagree" they receive.

Havent even thought about this game since June. It was over-promised, under-delivered and a crapshoot then. Coming up on the one year anniversary of release... and yeah. Safe to say having any faith in this game making a turnaround is a waste of time and effort.

Thanks for a good run CO/Paradox, but y'all screwed the pooch on this one so hard, I'm kind of glad all that initial annoyance has turned out to be mostly correct.

Some valuable lessons learned and practiced as a result of this fiasco first and foremost being "DONT TRUST THE DEVELOPERS, PUBLISHERS, OR THE LACKEYS THEY PAY TO 'CREATE CONTENT' " and of course the one that got ignored "No pre-orders".

On the bright side, I sleep well knowing that my griping on the forums about such a lackluster, botched release and subsequent *near year* of patching and empty promises has lead to loss of sleep and with a little luck, some extra stress in the lives of those responsible for this mess. Congrats, you've earned it!
