I have another question for you Guys/Gals at Paradox. I read that you guys once worked with Avalanche studios (the Makers of Just Cause 2, which I LOVE!) on a game called Vahalla Chronicles. Have you ever thought of working with them again or even publishing Just Cause 3 if its in development?

I think that it is the other way around. Many of devs have been working at Avalanche studios, but changed to Paradox. So Paradox as a company has not worked with Avalanche as a company, but many of us have friends there (And they are in the same building as we, on the 9th and 10th floor while we are sitting at floor 11). And about publishing... I don't know. Hopefully Shams has an answer.

And heres anotehr one I just thougth up just berfore I clicked submit, are you guys looking forward to the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim when it comes out (and maybe post a semi aar about it, please:D)?

I am always looking forward to new sandbox RPGs :)

So I lost my game cd (I blame my kids)

What do I do to get a replacement if possible at all?

I have the game registered here so everything is ligit...The reason I'm doing this is because I'm having problems with the latest patch, and I think a fresh install will help.

Thanks in advance

We do not have a download service unfortunately, so unless you had a code to register on gamersgate too, I can't really help you.

Ralph: magicka!

SAS: so far just one big title in production, but we've got half a dozen smaller projects being discussed/prototyped.

What would you like to see on tablets? Besides our internal titles - they are no-brainers.

Are Paradox Interactive developers allowed to date eachother or is there a company policy against it?
How's it hanging?
What's your favorite band/musician? (probably been asked earlier :p)

There are no rules about that at all. I think it might be illegal in Sweden. Actually two are together. Not telling who though.

Fav band? I can't stop listening to Journey right now. Much to the chagrin of...everyone else, until they have a beer or two, then they hum along with me.

Please, ask around the office and let us know :).

He is sitting next to me, I have not been sick since I got employed by paradox, and I have not seen this :(

If it ever happened (which I doubt), it must have been very late at an office party.

I would like to see it though ;)

Favorite non-paradox non-strategy game? And how many hours/days/months of your life has it devoured?

Right now, Mass Effect 1 & 2. But over time I have most likely spent the longest time playing Diablo 2 or Star Wars Galaxies (until they broke it). Quite a bit of Everquest 2 as well. I have no idea how long I've spent with any of them, I probably do not want to know either. :)

There are so many...

Favorite game is probably Portal. (But I have only played it for 15 hours or so)
Most hours: Probably Fallout 3. I have played it for 150 hours or more and still did not finish it. One of my favorite time sinks is Morrowind... I have played it for 80 hours and still did not get further then the first city :D (I ate lots and lots of strange mushrooms in the forest though)

Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey. A whole summer. The game I have played the most, however, must be The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Can't say exactly how many hours I have played, but I have completed the whole game at least twice, including the two expansions (Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles).

The fastest way to experience Morrowind is to abuse the potion system by making an Int potion, drink, repeat, until you have stupidly high int. Then you can make potions that let you run/fly across the map nearly instantaneously.

Yes... I took exactly the opposite aproach. I moved through the landscape thoroughly, and was very careful not to miss any cave, shipwreck or other site ;)

I have a question about the cover of the box version of Chronicles. Today, I checked a local shop to see if they have and they did. But when I looked at the backside of the cover, there were 3 screenshots, 2 of which didn't seem to be from EU3. The first one shows some Total War styled battle and the third one shows some kind of character development display. I was confused. The first screenshot might be from a video sequence, but the third one must be from a different game. So where are these screenshots from and why are they on the cover?

This might also convey a false impression of what to be expected in the game to someone, without experience with EU3...

This sounds a bit strange; our German distributor (Koch Media) has free hands to create their own art if they want to emphasize German history specifically but they should use art that is from the game and that is not making the impression the game is something that it's not. We'll look into it.

Time for the Ultimate question Paradox. This question has ravaged Families, crippled governments, and made friends enemies. The question being: Who shot first?

Han

or

Greedo?

I wish you best of luck.

You already know the answer... Han shot first of course.

Everything else is just an abomination.
