Good fun session there.

The Ottoman Empire saw a large expansion, with several wars being waged against our enemies.

Firstly, a war of revenge was waged against Ak Koyunlu after their alliance with Crimea expired. Crimea joined in on the side of the strong, which saw the Ottoman Empire eventually annex the renegade state.

This war secured the flank of the planned thrust against the Mameluke dynasty, and in 1514, large Ottoman army's crossed the Syrian frontier, whilst a naval expedition landed at Cairo. Within the year, the entire Mameluke empire was added to the Ottoman empire.

It was with some unease that the Sultan saw the newly formed Mughal empire declare war. However in a series of battles, Babur was slain, and Iraq and Basrah added to the empire. No trouble was caused by the attempted uprising of the Mamelukes shortly after this, and the army's of the Sultan started moving west and north.

With some delay, a new campaign was launched against Hungary, which itself was rocked by internal rebellions and several wars. The new Sultan Suleyman led the charge that saw this kingdom annexed outright, and in turn took further lands off Poland, and added the former Genovese holdings in the Crimean area to the Empire.

Following the end of these wars, much effort has been made into pacifying the locals, and mullah's have arrived en masse to aid in converting the infidels. With several vassals, including Seibenburgen, Qara Koyunlu, the Hedjaz, and Algiers in the Ottoman ranks, the future looks bright for the Ottomans.

I am busy at uni during the week so we probably cant play again until next weekend or possibly one evening. Prolly tuesday is the one that works best for me.

This game is more interesting and balanced for all of us I would say, so lets scrap that other one.

Im free for tonight. Not sure is System is though. If your free System come on ICQ and msg me. I can always buzz joel.

Gents. It is confirmed that I will be running Monday and Tuesday night at work starting as of next week. I will be given wednesday off so if you guys are up for playing then count me in. I need to wait until the other HOI clowns find a replacement for Italy in the new Mon/Tues game as they may switch it to wednesdays if they can't. Either way I am easy. SE.

No worries SE.

If you're busy, all the better for Austria - the AI seems to balance the budget a little better than its predecessor ;)

Mind you, that didn't stop me from annihilating Austria in a war they declared on me - I only took 3 or 4 provinces though...

I'm speaking to the boss tomorrow. I can no longer do Monday and Tuesday nights at work, I have a filthy Turk to hunt. SE.

Considering we discussed this briefly in game, I thought we might want to decide what cultural groups were relevant if we're adding any.

For Brandenburg: Baltic & Polish. (or maybe czech instead of polish?)
For Timurids: (No idea. I have no clue what Indian cultures (if any) they have. Maybe Gujarati or Baluchi)
For Muscowy: Altai & Ugric (& Ruthenian & Lithuanian & Mongol & Tartar & Khazak & Polish & Scandanavian & Baltic & Georgian & Armenian & Uzbeck).

Sound reasonable? :p
