Honestly? I'll be going with whatever sounds like the most fun background story from my options. Then end up with whatever stats that gets me. Those'll be the last thing I'll pay attention to.

So, with theyre being named characters (who all look awesome), will they have relationships trees?
like, dialogue that if you befriend them opens up more backstory/infomation as the game goes on from them sort of stuff?

While there is the Restoration Story Arc as the Main Story Arc for the Solo-Campaign, it don't see much by the way of ARGO Crew relationships or backstories driving additional "Story Arcs," though HBS has crafted a very immersive and richly nuanced "Event System." And with the various "Tags" that our MechWarriors have, they have appeared in quite a few of the Solo-Campaign Events I've seen in the early streams.

While it might not be quite what you are looking for, it is a step in that direction and of course, "in Success" all is possible! : )

I envy the play time too, but at the same time his streams are really helping bring the universe of BattleTech to another and younger crowd. So many times people are asking is the game out and how cool it looks and with the rising sales on the steam charts I think that this game will go well past the "In Success" standard the devs set.

So does that mean quads? ;)

Just tried to watch some of Cohh's replays and couldn't do it. Its like watching a trailer where they show all the good parts, I need my Battletech experience as clean and fresh as possible.

Just throwing another opine into the mix, but having watched the first six of Cohh's (seriously numerous) HBS BattleTech Online videos, I can state that the man's general unfamiliarity with BattleTech - both as a game engine and a game experience - serves as both a bit of a head-shaker and an "ah" situation. His clear lack of tactical experience with regard to BattleTech - table-top and online alike - leads to some "Boy, we gotta do a Mulligan with this one," outcomes with regard to 'Mech scraps (although it's made clear that, if you've done a game-save in the right place, such a thing is at least possible), while his clearly first-time exploration with the personnel, mission choice, finances, repair/upgrade and interaction buttons/choices is a major help for those of us who didn't have access to the Beta. It's a pretty serious time commitment, but again, looking this stuff over could lead to a considerable jump-up on the learning curve when public release is achieved on the 24th.

You're a smart fellow. It's "deuce"-edly easy to see in a "pinch" and we're all just having a "gas" on these forums...but I'll digress before a mod "drops" by to "flush" the conversation...
