Greetings @AlexHarvey I haven't really been following this issue here. Using windows 8.1 I push print screen only for copying events/decisions that don't show up with f11. Sorry, but I really don't have time atm to go check what system you are using. Print screen button takes my shot then I tab out and just open paint hit paste and my image is there. I do pause before taking the image and yes it does send my camera view down to Antarctica but I get back by pushing the button for whatever active battle is going on. Jmo, ymmv

It just depends on the manufacturer of your PC. I have a crappy Lenovo and I have to press the "Fn" key with the F12 key to bring up the cheat console. I suspect it's the same thing with print screen for me. When I had an HP, I think I had to press the Crrl key. Your PC probably has a different "special" function key. BTW, I'll never buy another Lenovo again, the screen is in the process of coming detached from the chassis.

maybe try windowed mode from launcher, or if u do try regular
where it ends up is also diff on every pc hehe
usually recents/view all gets you to a spot where they are draggable

That might be it - printscreen opens the snip tool... I'll need to look into that.

on my end, the starving defenders of malta finally submit
a single division was sufficient

Looks like we've gone in very different directions lmao

What's the point of Africa though? There's like 50 IC in the entire continent.

it really seems like a better plan than trying to break thru this....

I almost always play as minors, but decided to start a Soviet game last night (Redwolf's AIO mod). I'm surprised that I can easily avoid the great purges by refusing the initial purge and taking a 30 dissent hit. There's got to be more to it than that? I apologize if I'm threadjacking.

I think if you don't purge anyone you get a civil war or something, no?
 
In old HOI 2, you could avoid the purges with no consequences if Stalin was dead or just not in power.

i mean u can, but it will make a dent in your prewar construction
30 dissent could take awhile to remove without the huge pile of helpful events that other countries get
losing marshal Tukhachevsky and that tank buster air general are the ones that sting
what other good leaders are you retaining with this move?

I could never find a reasonable explanation for this insane huge dissent hit for soviet purge in all vanilla Hoi-games.

I believe that when you send all the dissented people to the Gulag, there is no one left 'at freedom' who would like to repeat their fate and open their mouth against the authorities too loudly. All the others people, after the purge, sit quietly and are afraid to open their mouths against the authorities.
At least this is how it works in EU4 - you send your mercenaries to dissented province, they just kill all the dissented people and dissent disappears for next 10 years.

That is, in my opinion, purges should rather to reduce dissent than to raise it. Ahahaha

I still have kept +1 purge-dissent, just according to the classic ancient Hoi tradition that there should be the dissent for soviet purge, but I still cannot explain to myself its meaning.
