Awesome solutions, guys.. I just hope they will be implemented in the next upgrade. Uh.. what about Nepal and Bhutan, the last members of the Entente? I guess they don't have defeat events.

Yes they do actually - events 5476 and 36476. :)

Remove...

Code:
NOT = { alliance = { country = FRA country = GER } }
NOT = { puppet = { country = FRA country = GER } }

...from their trigger conditions and see what happens

Organisation

When you build a new division with a communications company, it says, that the div will have a org value higher than an ordinary div, but actually those divs have exactly the same org like all other infantry divs with a brigade. What also looks stange about inf + com is the fact, that such a div has a lower supply consumption than a pure inf div and an even higher speed (engineer regiment gives no speed bonus), is this intented? So after the first look inf + com seems to be the perfect choice.

Techs improve communication company's org even more. I like them alot.

Did you actually see inf + com with a higher org than inf? As Germany, when I try to build inf + com, it says , that their org will be 70, but later it is actually 63, like all other inf + xxx combinations.

My communications brigades always have plenty more org. Dunno why it doesn't seem to work for you... :confused:

ptan, but what if a british player wants to release Australia after the war?

If he does, he will be left with a string of british territory on new guinea...

Australia should only have what's on the island of Australia defined in revolt.txt - nothing more. If Australia exists after the war, AND Britain rules those outlying islands, there can be an event that cedes those islands from Britain to Australia.

Not overly important if you ask me but if Allenby is in the mood.........

Yes, obviously. It's already done, ages ago - apart from Yaren.

Is there anything I can do?

Don't know if it's a game bug or a TGW bug, but...

I'm getting a consistent CTD in the tech share screen. When you hover the mouse over Night/Terrain effects and then move the mouse away the game crashes. (only if the game is not paused.)

Strange, It doesn't happen to me. :)

And as my new catchphrase goes - 'If it isn't a problem for me, it isn't a problem at all!'. ;)

Nothing. Because even we haven't found out what the exact problem is. :)

Hello,

A few things I noticed:

1. The sprite for a German bomber is still the WW2 bomber. Is there no WW1 sprite available?

2. I'm not sure but I think that technologies that increase supplies or industry efficiency don't work. I tried to keep an eye on the numbers and they don't change after I get such an invention...

Regards,
Jan

PS: What about my remarks about the non-existant defences of the German AI in the East?

Scenario November 1914, when November 18, 1915 is coming, i don't do anything.
I think I've found a Clue as to why this is happening.

From the japan.inc file in the November 1914 scenario folder:
Code:
    development = {
        id = { type = 30111 id = 558 }
        name = "Fuso"
        type = battleship
        model = 3
        cost = 10
        date = { year = 1915 month = november day = 18 }
    }
Notice the date that the ship becomes available? Furthermore, #'ing out these lines appears to prevent the crash. :cool:

Next question: anybody know why this would cause a CTD? Could it be the ID numbers, or a problem with the ship model, or a tech tree issue?

We´ve got the HMS Natal in the british OOB that share the ID... although I do nopt know if that is the error...

We also have the french cruiser Cassard, and the german SMS Niobe.

Perhaps that part of the japan.inc file is corrupt?

Try removing the parts of the file that isn't anything to do with the development of the Fuso and pasting it on a new notepad file, then retyping the information left out regarding the Fuso and testing it again.

For some reason, files just bugger themselves up sometimes.

Not at the moment.

Noticed by anyone else?
