Hey all,

I was hoping for some clarification on what version of the mod works on what version of CKII. The short of it is that I have 3.2.0 - is there a ++ version out there that works for that? If not I think I might dial back - and which version of CKII is recommended? 3.1.1?

Thanks so much in advance.

You'll find a version compatible with 3.2.1 on page 12.

I am playing with the page 12 update. I have recorded some possible bugs for you.

1. Betrothals break when the other party goes into hiding; which dissolves alliances.
2. If you create the devil worshipper society it will completely disappear after 1 month.
3. If your heir dies and your new heir is still in regency and the regent stands to inherit they will initiate a plot to kill your char and will not stop until finally dies; these plots are immediately consecutive, no time delay; one after the other until he dies. 4 failed attempts in a row then they succeeded on the 5th. 3 failed then 1 succeeded with my other char.
4. Plots randomly ending. I kept my eye on it and it appeared they were ending after a failed attempt, instead of remaining as an active plot.
5. Marry anyone console command doesn't work (every other console command I tried worked; I used loads).
6. Cant join crusades because the Pope (every Pope) was considered a mercenary :s?
7. Cant appoint women to council or give them landed estates? is that a bug?
8. Random crashes, usually within first 5mins of gameplay. If the game survives the first 5min it never crashes. Also it does not just crash my game but the whole pc, I have to re-boot.
+ last time I crashed out 5 or 6 times before finally getting a game going but now for some reason I can no longer mat marry. The option has completely disappeared.

Hope this is useful!

We're no longer working on the old branch. Some of these seem not to be related to the mod, such as the full PC crash. Did you remove older versions? Verify game files in Steam? Any other mods?

Downloaded the update on page 12 and CK2 keeps crashing during startup right when it starts loading graphics.

Did you completely remove the previous version first? You may also want to remove the gfx folder.

I thought I had completely removed it. Removing the gfx folder won't have any adverse effects? If not I will give it a try the next time I have enough free time to mess around with things.

What is the old branch? What are you working on now?

And yes it is probably some other mod is crashing me out, been having problems with old mods for a while. will try solve it, thanks.

The old branch is everything available here, on the forums, before the rewrite started.

I hope you can find the cause of your issues and enjoy the mod, for what it is in the current state. We'll keep on working on the new version in the meantime.

Is the mod compatible with the current version of the game? I know the old branch is longer supported and bugged yet I played it anyway to find weird numbers like diplo 20 chancellor having like 35% forge rate which is insane. Used to be that the soft max in CK2+ was around 10%. This isn't WAD, right?

On page 12, you'll find a compatible version, yes. Councillor interactions were changed in vanilla and I copied the changes without modification, so upper chances likely changed a bit.

Not sure if it's alright to post bugs here.(Since only Whizzer is working on the old branch, and they are active on this post) If not please tell me.

You can't invite anyone to court until you load a save game. @_@

Also, a chancellor with 20 diplo forging a claim with wooping 36% still persists even with the page 12 version of the game.

Found an issue with Crown laws. Seems like the "prestige = 250" factor is placed one bracket wrong (if that makes sense). Which made it impossible for me to enact new crown laws. However Crown Auhtority did not have this issue. Not sure if this has already been found (or if the only one to experience it?).

I changed this in the txt-file so it should work as intended, if you want it and don't want to go around messing with the files, here you go :)

Yeah, i saw same issue, but thought it was caused by mods i used)

Q&A thread is locked so I'll ask here.
Downloaded the page 12 version, and all I need to know is how do I upgrade Tribal holdings to Castles?

Nevermind, found it.
Construction level 3 is what I need for some reason.

Guys is it ok that AI became too passive in terms of wars? I'm using CK2+ beta from page 12 with all DLCs, started new campaign at Alexiad date twice and both times there were NO WARS AT ALL in first 3-4 years, except some revolts. Does anyone notice the same?

Does anyone know how to revert to the original CK2+'s councillor job success rate and their values? I play with half claim forging chances but they are still higher(like 17% at 22 diplo with half chance. IIRR a year ago with 20diplo your chance to forge a claim in CK2+ was like 10%.) and other actions chances are unchanged, with something like 50~60% chance to improve relationships. This is nearly gamebreaking for me as it makes the game too easy and the reason I prefer CK2+ over HIP is its challenges.

Well I went ahead and fixed the problem I mentioned above myself.

I had no point of reference because older CK2+ mods were not available; I looked at HIP and changed some crazy-high values to make more sense. Also removed non-AI claim fabrication bonus and AI fabrication penalties. Your claim fabrication is now approximately down from original plus's 35% - > 17% with a very good chancellor. I went through all job event chances and knocked off some values to be more in line with HIP, success and failure chance(the former was often too high and the latter was too low compared to HIP) I wish I had older CK2+ versions for reference tho, or devs change it more hardcore by themselves.

No longer will you be generating claims every few years nor improve relationship with a lord stacking it above 100 in no time.

p.s. You need to change the treasurer's failure chance to depend on their skills, too which I modified in my game. Currently there's like 36% chance to be attacked by mobs when collecting taxes which is insane.

p.s.2 updated the files. find it in the latest post.
