Your first problem is that your checksum is wrong. You're either using other mods or your install is corrupted. We can't help you.Hello, I recently downloaded and played this mod, to see how it is. So far, I have been liking it a lot.
The problem is that, for some mysterious reason, the game keeps crashing.
I started a game as a duke in the byzantine empire, in the old gods start, and began my campaingn there. So far so good, and the game was okay, with no crashes, for many years. Then I reached March of 892, and the game crashes to desktop after some days in that month. I dont know why that happens, since it was playing okay untill that point.
I have all the requirements for use of the mod, and it worked okay till that date. So, can someone tell me why that is happening?
I have the India submod as well as the 2.7.2 GMTV checksum
My installation? You mean the game?Your first problem is that your checksum is wrong. You're either using other mods or your install is corrupted. We can't help you.
Your checksum should currently be EDYI (with India), as seen in this post: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/ck2plus-download-v4-06-5-the-republic.973318/My installation? You mean the game?
If so, if I re install the game and the mod, would I be able to play this canpaingn ? Or is the save game corrupted as well?
Hello Vukica; I love CK2+ so much, my first mod for CK2 ever so I've been loving it. Unfortunately, I've been getting a nasty crash and am hoping there is a workaround. I see haosultist may have reported a similar bug but his bug report differed from mine so I'm making one.
First, the important parts/context:
I'm using CK2 version 2.7.2, checksum GMTV on launcher.
I'm using CK2+ version 4.06.5, checksum JEXF (not using India submod).
I have not downloaded any other mods at all, and am only using vanilla CK2 combined with CK2+.
I have reinstalled CK2 and CK2+ twice since the bug started appearing, and it reoccurred each time.
The save I attached is one instance of the crash occurring; if I load the save under all the above conditions the crash will occur within 5 months of doing nothing but run time forward at max speed. Usually it occurs on May 18th, sometimes about a year later. I tested it about 9ish times.
The bug:
In two separate playthroughs after playing for 60-100~ years I start getting random crashes. When the crash occurs I automatically check each log
under the Paradox/CK2/log folder, but none of them say anything relevant. (In fact, each log is empty except "system", and under system the last entry is datestamped hours before the crash). The crash occurs seemingly "randomly" while the game is set to max speed and I'm watching the action. When it occurs, the game freezes and if I click on anything it stops responding. If I reload the same save, the game progresses and then crashes; often on the exact same date (sometimes it will get past the date and then crash a year later). In my specific attached instance, the date of the crash is May 18th. No actions I take prior to the crash occurring seem to affect it; in the specific instance attached, my last actions were: starting a feast, starting a summer festival, inviting two courtiers. However, I reloaded a save 2 years before the crash and did nothing but fast forward and I still eventually crashed.
Unfortunately this has made it really difficult to play; and kinda disappointing when I lose hours of playtime/my set up dynasty. :/
I hope I've attached all the relevant info about the bug; if I've missed anything or you think any other information/files/logs would help I'm happy to attach those. I just want to enjoy this amazingly content-filled modpack! Seriously; don't take this as a complaint about /anything/. I really, really appreciate your dedication to creating free awesome content for such a good game.

See what I get for not paying attention to the vanilla checksum? LolRead the opening post on how to find your in-game/mod checksum.
launcher checksum.

Good news!
There was a crapload of errors in the mod that got fixed.... today. So there will be a release soon™ which will fix your crash (I tested).
