Who?"Obsolete" is a bit harsh a term in comparison to "outdated", as its nuance implies those pages are now worthless though
you might want to hand-pick/PM coanda to edit a couple of specific pages, since he is slightly more knowledgeable than most with certain topics
Send a PM to Veld about it and he might be willing to sticky it.I would like to see this thread 'stickied' to the top of the forum for us newbies to CKII. I just purchased the game after trying the demo and liking it. I've played all of the HOI series and new I'd need some 'professional' help getting the hang of this game, but only accidentally stumbled across the wiki. Thanks for the work putting it out there!
I do have a V2 Wiki in fact.Meneth, your work on the CKII wiki is a beautiful thing and entirely essential to a game like this. +1 for stickying.
I don't suppose you happen to have created a decent Victoria 2 wiki in your spare time? I think the paradoxiam wiki's are long dead... though they seem to have just enough information to inhibit the birth of alternatives... and V2 has so many obscure abstractions that it needs a wiki more than any other game I know of.
Yes, I got Veld to put it in there a couple of days agoThe wiki is already linked to from the appropriate, collective sticky thread.
See this category.Which articles need to be updated?
I'm not quite sure what you mean.Good news.
Meneth, are there any tweaks that could be applied/described re: AI aggression and/or blobbing?
There are a few actually; religions can have aggression levels set for them as of 1.10, and in defines there's an overall aggression level.Yeah, probably modding-wise, as there are no aggression settings in CK2, as opposed to CK1...
The most important is "DOW_AGGRESSION_FACTOR = 0.5, -- General aggressiveness declarations of war"I'm guessing this is something in the NAI section, but I can't figure out what each line does.
Wouldn't hurt, I suppose.Thankee, sir.
As to end this offtop: how about writing a guide to defines.lua on the CKII Wiki? (I would do it, but as evidenced by the above, I don't know sh*t about it except the prestige multiplier for marriage)
Nothing starting with "debug" is usable without a debug version of the game, sadly. The wiki page about console commands list various interesting ones like "debug_dumpevents". Are those still usable by non-devs?
