The blues certainly are very pretty, it's just a pity they don't look very spacy.
Unfortunately, I'm not having much luck with lighter shades of grey, mostly, they just look terrible. Sticking with the pretty blues for the time being seems like the wise course.

As a thought, what can we do with those terrain images (the ones that make the forest and desert graphics on the standard maps, and the disused ones of whales and winds)? Hypothetically, can we do what Paradox did for Victoria, and create one of these the size of the whole map, that would add stars and terrain features to an otherwise spartan map?
It would take forever and be huge, but it is possible... yes...

I dont but could you email it to me, I might be able to get the guy who hosts the Vicky MDS site to allow it to be uploaded there.

We can use their sprite for the Greys, but it isn't spacey enough...

Okay people, it's up:
http://rapidshare.de/files/10082953/test_map.zip.html

Reveilled, would you be so kind and edit your first post on this thread so new people that read this can see the download?

Also, this is just a bug-fixing version, I'm including a single scenario just for testing purposes... So, DL it, find bugs and let me know...

EDIT: how to install:
Copy your EU2 installation in new folder, be sure to use EU2 1.09 patch, now after you have DL'd it, unzip the archive and copy extracted folders (there should be three, DB, Map and Scenarios) to your second EU2 installation... Enjoy!

Nice map, especially when I can explore it for myself. :D
It seems my names didn't make the cut?
Anyway, should I upload my startscreens from before?

Haha! I found my names! :D
That gave me quite a feeling of gladness. :D
Is anyone doing the province.csv, or should I do that? (Terra being called province 1 is slightly irritating.) :)

Yay wow! Just got back from El Scotland and I'm amazed by the progress in just the one night I have not been on the forums. Good work dudes!
