Only map I really need to see at some point to get an idea on what the setup is gonna be is the de jure Hegemony map, not expecting that next week to be clear, heck I don't even know what all to expect next week, but I would like to see that map at some point before the AUH diaries end and the Coronation ones begin in August. Untill then though I imagine the diaries are gonna be a bit like the Tinto Map ones where they show us the map as it currently is and take our feedback for culture, religion, etc.

They really didn't include Kilwa? Damn does the map look far more natural though stretching from West to East and it looks good!

Maybe I am in a copium fueled haze but the fact that Kilwa is not on the map and there is a chunk of Africa cut from the map makes me optimistic we might still see more of Africa on the map some day... Obviously, assuming performance allows.

Zanzibar definitely so part of historic Kilwa seems to be included.

But that to me is the more perplexing bit, a decent chunk of the new East African provinces will fall under the control of Kilwa throughout this period yet, Kilwa island itself is apparently absent. Looking at maps of the various start dates, looks like Kilwa won't be on the map in any of them.

I don't know if it is because of the problem of map projection that South China is particularly bloated, while North China is twisted into a ball, and Shaanxi Province is even in a straight line with Lake Baikal.

Yeah the devs confirmed they were only going as far south as Zanizbar. I hope they can add the other half of the Sawhili Coast, particularly as a complement to the Ch.5 Trade systems but looking at the map I'm not optimistic that they will.

[Looks at Angkor.] They were not joking about the swarm of the small tributaries. I absolutely love that! I hope that it will push better mechanical representation of really, really loosely bound together realms in general!
