Wonderful! This is exactly what I would like to see for "quiet period" dev diaries. To me, there is was a DD today.

Today, in 87 minutes, the release date announcement is scheduled to go online.

Beyond that it's up to everyone's guess, if there is a DD about the 'vision' of the expansion, or if there is a regular DD tomorrow. We don't know.

But rest assured, the council will ask the question after today's event.

Release date is the 24th of September, next DD is in eight days on the topic of Administrative Governments.

Sadly no DD this week, no further information in the video, and no 'vision' DD accompanying the date reveal. But at least the next DD is about the thing that I'm excited for most, so the council is placated for now.

We're shifting our DD strategy a bit for Roads to Power; Legends of the Dead left too much unsaid we're swinging the other direction now and trying to dump as much info as humanly possible onto players.

We're taking an extra week on this one to make sure it has the detail and impact that we want it to have. In other words, if you find next week's DD lacking, feel free to metaphorically throw rocks at me.

I honestly thank you, and whoever decided on that new strategy. Just one question remains: Is there will be DDs during summer break?

Because let's face it, we have reached over two months now without a proper DD, and it would feel pretty strange if you released two or three DDs, only to go into an almost 2 months long break again over summer.

Then it's suddenly September already and three weeks before RtP releases. That would also put you in the same spot as with LotD, and result in the very same thing you try so hard to avoid this time.

I ask now not to be impertinent, but because we still have enough time to address, and if necessary rectify, that potential issue.
