When the game crashes, or someone loses connection, everyone needs to rejoin the game again...or "rehosting." So, I imagine he wanted to try to help you figure it out again when that occured.

Actually, Iron, I don't think you need to give up; remember that we play on Slow and Very Slow most of the time. I don't think we've gotten any more than, what, fifteen years? Set against the 400 of the Grand Campaign, that's nothing. Hell, the HRE hasn't even collapsed yet!
KoM- In the first save i saw, you guys already had improved many buildings (hell, england had already 45 gold monthly income!), and poland/kiev/georgia/hungary already took many pagan provinces. Of course HRE hasn't collapsed yet. I never saw HRE loosing a vassal until 1110 or so. You are right, 15 years are nothing compared to 400 years, but 15 years of advance means much (specially when you have a NORMAL, WEAKLING, ai in your place). I haven't seen the current saved game, but if the situation is impossible for sweden or any other country i may take, i will not even bother try to join this MP game.
Since we have no French Player, France is open for someone. Considering how rich they are when they start, It should not be a problem.
Also Ego, Kiev and Georgia both have been at war most of the time. If you look at their provinces, there has not been much development yet. Poland and Hungary might be a different story. What I am trying to say in my own strange way is that the development might not be as bad as you think. Also, if we can figure out a time that is advantageous to us both, I am more than willing to try and see if there are any connection issues any day during the week.

Indeed, Kiev has been shattered by this long-running war; I was deeply in debt until I got an Estates General event and married off my daughter, and I think I've built precisely one building in the whole game so far. And the pagans have smashed my ally and heir, Novgorod; I am now stuck in a long-drawn out struggle in the far north.

Lol. But wilcox is right Ego, whatever your realm of choice is it probably doesn't have vassals rebelling like England. Hell, even my Hungary sucks: a moron for a king, and my heir is a hunchback cousin. Plus my income is only 15 ducats in spite of all the money I continue to pour into province improvements.

If it helps at all, Ego, I'm deeply in debt for a Crusade that went badly for me. So, I didn't make much progress other than a few Sicilian provinces and a couple title grabs. I can't even afford to build roads or courts...probably for another ten years, unless I get a money lending event!

In the first save i noticed that none of you guys used feudalism. Feudalism is the easiest way to prevent rebelions... Anyway,I may try to join next friday, but till then, i need someone to see if my router is working properly... If someone wants to test it with me, i would be gratefull, thanks
I use Feudal contract. I didn't play in the first game, so it's not there, but it should be there in the new save.

Drachenfire- I think that england didn't vassalize/annex the duchy of Gwynedd yet, but it already took Deheubarth. I guess it would be suicide to go as Wales with a Human England, unless you want to end vassalized
