That's really bizarre. I'm playing that same game right now and just put myself over 500 gold into the negative annexing Serbia.

Justinian has 30k men?

I can raise an army of about 39,000 men. Northern Italy is rich.

I was playing with patch 1.05, tried out last Friday Savegame, played as Kingdom of Croatia (yes, your puny kingdom  ). i just mobilized my whole army, and didn't loose one single gold coin. Please, note that i didn't mean mobilizing armies one by one, but the "Grand Mobilization" option itself. As your little kingdom, i mobilized 30k men and my income kept the same: 45 gold coins, and by the end of the month, you earned money, instead of losing.

Maybe try reinstalling your game? No one else has reported this bug with 1.05, and people have been playing it for a week now.

Hey a question If I raise say 50,000 men and half of it goes poof after a war, is there a way to bring it all back or do I have to wait a few years? for it to regenrate in their home vassal home town province state thingyajing.

Ok, i will delete my game for the 11th time. But know, that just yesterday i did it, and i just installed the 1.05 patch directly. I also joined a game that CCbasin created, and it didnt give me the error that says that my game version is diferent.

I believe you're playing 1.05, but I'm saying there may be some sort problem with the installation, because no one else playing 1.05 has reported this problem.

They'll regenerate in their home provinces...the length of time it takes to regenerate is determined by your martial score. Training grounds and war academies speed up the process.

BurningEGO - Hold on a second, there's nothing wrong with your copy, I just figured out what the problem is. You said you loaded up my game, right? The reason why there wasn't any monetary charge for the army is because my army maintenance slider is set to zero. ;)

I just loaded up the save game, and I saw the same thing you did...I was wondering what was going on, and then I checked my budget settings. I just had it turned all the way to zero when I called my troops back home after the last war.

So, there's nothing wrong with your game - or the patch.

WoW. Why would someone ever turn that slider to 0? i only turn it to 0 when my troops are at sea, as at sea they always suffer the same attrition level: 1.00. Good that i didnt unistall CK yet. Thanks for finding the problem.

I turn it to zero when I'm marching them back home after war. If you disband them in an enemy province, the entire regiment is destroyed. But, I don't want them eating away at my treasury either, and attrition is usually minimal through provinces with roadnets, so I turn the maintenance down.

I can't wait, I moved my computer downstairs so I can play all night.

It should be fun tonight. Sadly, Kujawy will be gone tonight and next week, so Hungary will be rudderless.

Guys, I have a problem. After i have been on the computer for about 15 minutes, half of my moniter goes black. Then, I have to wait for 30 minutes with it turned off to get it back. Any ideas what it might be causing this??

I will check back in a while.

I had a problem something like CC where when I played crusader kings for a few minutes my screen would go black and I could do anything but munually restart. Turned out my nvidia graphics card needed a update with its software.

Um..maybe something needs to be updated? Although if only half go black.. maybe you need a new monitor?

It does sound more like a monitor problem. I guess just shut it down for a bit, check to make sure your connections are all tight, and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers.

I'ld unplug and replug your moniter, do a reboot and check for updates for your graphics drivers.

9:50 and I dont see anyone in valk yet.
