Okay gents, I think I said this during the last session but for those who were absent/high/have alzheimer's/whatever, I will be absent this session and the one after that. Now I hope that no one will try to take advantage of poor Hungary while I'm gone. *gives suspicious glare* Anyway, I just hope that when I come back I won't see my kingdom reduced to a couple of provinces vassalized to Kiev or whoever else. But I trust you guys...

Sorry I have been quiet lately. Life has picked up the pace recently.
I'm a Hoi2 vet I know most of those MP issues and I believe I fixed all fo them I DMZ is enabled so my router is never a issue, if it is I reset it (off/on) and everything's fine.
There was one time when I couldn't connect at all but I did the remote desktop connection thing with a friend and he fixed it somehow.
Anyways everything is fine and my firewall should never be an issue.

CK's arrived in the mail now I'm installing and I'll have some hours down btt (By the time) Friday comes around.
People, i would like to make the following question. In last game before i dropped, one of my vassals rebelled, but a few seconds before he did that, i checked his loyalty, and i noticed that he had 100% loyalty. Their ruler didn't die, i didn't muster their army either, the current ruler had positive traits and still i wonder why he declared war on me. Is this one of the known bugs of playing an old save game in the 1.05 patch?
Does Ck have an ingame tutorial? Also I live in Eastern Canada/Quebec (Lower Canada for some), so what time CC would be a good time to test my connection? And what is your icq?

It is possible that this is what happened, yes. Perhaps you could check whether your vassal had the trat 'Rebelliousness'? It's a blue icon, so it's easy to spot. That trait used to be one of the disease traits; so if your vassal had a disease in the older versions, he'd be rebellious now.
Alternatively, it could be one of the new events; some of them, I seem to recall, do not require bad loyalty for rebellion.

It's not propaganda when it's true. Consider : Poland has extended her rule to the Baltic coastline, and apparently considers that her sphere of influence stretches to the Dvina. Poland has conquered most of the kingdom of Lithuania. Poland has an aggressive, high-Martial king. Poland does not scruple to attack the vassals of other, peace-loving players. And, worst of all, Poland has now run out of pagans and AIs to expand against. In sum, I think Poland is the worst threat to European peace in the game right now, and should be counterbalanced by an alliance of the other Baltic and East-European states.

Wow, Poland sounds like a Threat, me as France will send monetary aid to those fighting her. Until the Alliance starts winning then I switch sides.

I suggest we start speaking about a "Partition of Poland", it hapened quite later (historicaly), but who cares? Remember KoM, i want the baltic provinces. Btw, the first polish king is dead, poland is ripe for conquest!

Clan Ranald- I guess i can tell you some things. France was already taken by Sid, we are running the patch 1.05, we are in 1087 if i am not mistaken, we always play at Fridays, 22:00 eastern america timezone, 3:00 pm GMT.
Honestly i don't know what country to advise you to play as. The "so" called empire of byzantium, doesn't even own Byzantion right now. Iberia is almost dead, italy is being claimed by croatia, sweden will be a norwegian province soon, eastern europe is overan with the "Georgian hordes", Poland owns most of the baltic, England keeps trying to survive, Hungary had a small quarrel with the "old kingdom of croatia". I think that the only GOOD selectable countries in this game are either Scotland, Bohemia , Denmark and perhaps Pereyaslavl. You can also pick a HRE duchy or such as you said before, but that i will leave it up to you. Oh, btw, CCbasin is the MP-organizer for this game.

Certainly I love peace. I mean, quite apart from the obvious advantages for building infrastructure and expanding by marriage, I would draw your attention to this old saying : "The conqueror is always a man of peace; he would like nothing better than to gain our territories without conflict."
EDIT : And besides, right now my army is among the smallest in Eastern Europe. Peace is the thing, yeah. You be nice or I'll get the UN to impose sanctions on you.
