Just played my first Doomsday scenario with DAIM up until the return of the Condor Legion. Something puzzles me: when the event fires, I get blueprints for two 1941 CAS doctrines instead of the usual 1938 CAS doctrines!?! :confused:

Did you change this in DAIM or is there something else happening that I am not aware of?

Its a doomsdaybug and not DAIM related . They have forgotten to change the IDs for Dommsday :rolleyes:
 
Does DAIM change anything with republican/nationalist spain? Since I installed daim every time (well 5 times ;)) republicans win the civil war and do it fast...

By Far your DAIM AI are the best AI out there right now,

I have been working on trying to simulate Pearl Harbor in DD,but i seems like a very hard task,givin there is no event commands make any units to move to,or port_strike that would allow you to beable to simular Pearl harbor.

1)you seem to have the best AI's to make the allies land on europe,have to tried to make japan to make a surpise attack on pearl?

2)I saved a game as japon when i was attacking Pearl with a port attack,then loaded the mission into the country inc files to start a game,although japon was not a war yet with the usa the navel still went on to attack pearl,(and other key pacific opening war mission,amphibious landings in ,guam, Philippines,wake,Singapore.japon would move to but not land until being at war with usa and england.This worked great,I set the trigger to go to war when the japons first air fleet entered sea prov 1929
just before reaching pearl.all of this worked perfecty,but once I tried it with the AI controled japan,it was a total failure.The AI overroad all the preset assault missions :mad:

you and lotus being the AI kings is there a way to stop the AI from cancelling the pearl missions,Have you worked on AI that will perform a pearl harbor like suprise attack?if this can be made to work,I could set many many differnt opening war plans for the japonese.a multipy choice event could determan what strategy they plan to use,them remove the navel units that don't fit into there opening battle strategy.the more choices the harder it will be for human players to plan to counter this.

any AI help you could give would be great,or ideas how to solve this problems so that this pearl harbor event chain can move forward.

I will gave the AI Pearl as a possible target in one of the next DAIM updates but no idea what the AI is making with it.

An exact attack on a exact target isn't possible , i'm sorry :(
I've seen the AI doning sometimes portstrikes on pearl but this was nearly random.

I think you misunderstood a little bit,I loaded the mission froma saved game file,but the AI cancelled it.here is the mission, it works for human player.I just need to know if there is anything that can be done to keep the AI from cancelling the mission?

Hmm doing the AI all over again must be the mother of all jobs. I haven't played it yet but I'll give it a shot probably in less than 24h.

hey guys i jsut looked at this mod for the first and downlaoded it today but i still have not installed t yet, i just have some questiones, does the new and improved AI only for the main countrys in ww2, and what years does it span, if i read corectly its only up to and including 39, if so then when is a probable realease date for the next version, like soon, or not even in thsi year.

Oh, you realise that France gets some bonuses in dd-smep right? ;)
If you knew that(and even if you didnt), can you please tell me if you think they are a good add to the mod?

I'll answer in the "other MODs" forum" as i had to realize it's your "fault".
But no problem, i can't say thanks to Spocky and G'Kar often enough.
 
whew- things get wild when the Mers-El-Kebir event fires and the allies DOW Vichy. Am playing a USSR game and fighting a horribly bloody statement with Germany in Poland (1941)

China has made peace with Japan, surrendering about 1/2 their territory

UK DOW Vichy, and are hard pressed in Africa by Italy, who has control of 1/2 the suez-

  • Production and research of all DAIM countries revised and tweaked
  • China: Strategy against Japan tweaked, special settings when puppet of Japan (for all warlord factions)
  • Great Britain and Commonwealth: various settings revised, better manpower usage, D-Day possible!
  • Soviet Union: strategy against Germany revised, buildup changed significantly
  • USA: more active in the Pacific, D-Day possible!, defense settings when under pressure

Hey all, I just got off reading The Cruel Sea and was going to play a convoy protection/ASW role as Canada in DD. What I want to know is does DAIM Germany pursue an active "Battle of the Atlantic" U-Boat campaign?
