China dominating the Aztecs? That's an unexpected twist. Even so, Elysium has almost grown to the full size of the contiguous United States.

Economically, they're under them. So not a vassal, but a type of semi subject. Independent politicially, but economically subservient I guess we can say.China dominating the Aztecs? That's an unexpected twist. Even so, Elysium has almost grown to the full size of the contiguous United States.
Yeah, well I guess they have resources they need? The North Sea Empire under Chinese influence is peculiar though. That’s about as far away from their territory as it is possible to be without moving closer to it again.
Peace in our time, hopefully for a long time! Elysium is, like Aztecs to China detailed above, independent politically, but economically subservient. This means HRE will be more likely to support us in diplo plays.Georgios seems to be a good ruler, but how long will peace last? Those Ming look threatening...
How close are Elysium's ties to the HRE? Is there a formal alliance? Is it just an economic agreement? Do we need to worry about affairs in the Old World?
Not sure what you mean here, but the immigration is huge in Elysium. Pop growth is right below 1% per year, so pretty good, but the immigration is huge. We will fight to keep open borders.Pop increases work so long as basic resources are available and the added pops are producing more than they are using. There is a finite amount of space and usable water. Thanks
Ah yes, "peaceful" expansion. Georgios is certainly an imperialist. And he had other plans for peaceful expansion too.
Very peaceful. Very zen.Ah yes, "peaceful" expansion. Georgios is certainly an imperialist.
Just you wait. For the average Elysium citizen I'm sure Georgios is a vast improvement and the golden age of peace and expansion is very much appreciated. Narratively however, he's not a patch on his father is he?![]()
Hmmm, you think so?Well, he's more organized and stable than his dad, but there's something I can't put my finger on about him. I think there's more to him than we've seen thus far.
It seems Manifest Destiny arrives, even if King Georgios Galantinus says he is a peaceful sort. And what's that about colonizing Africa?
They are actually colonizing, if very slowly. But then again we're pretty early for widespread colonization yet.It seems Manifest Destiny arrives, even if King Georgios Galantinus says he is a peaceful sort. And what's that about colonizing Africa?
With the issues in this mod regarding colonial expansion, what are the European powers doing to colonize Africa?
Is this just how Victoria works compared to OTL colonization? But then again we're pretty early for widespread colonization yet.![]()
Malaria means it goes sloooooow until a certain tech (actually two, one bettering the other). Is this just how Victoria works compared to OTL colonization?
It could have been worse, if you look at some of the competition. But a main problem here is I still have a LOT of peasants, who earn very little and live on substinance farms.Despite all this prosperity, Elysium' poor don't seem to be benefiting. Who is gaining the most from all this wealth?
Into Africa we go! Hopefully, this doesn't lead to conflicts with Europe. Georgios wouldn't like that.
Oh, you are so eager for action my dear Pip.I'm sure if you were in one of the Tribes of North America it has all been quite interesting (and murderously violent), but that aside Georgios remains a bit dull. Exciting things may well be coming soon, but they certainly haven't arrived yet.
I do admire the bloody mindness of the 14 Nguni people, they could have joined either of the two much larger existing Bantu groups. But instead they are insisting on being counted separately.
What if it turns out this entire AAR was just a prequel to The Great War?Oh, you are so eager for action my dear Pip.Why not relax and wait for the real deal to come in due time.

Hah! That would be some world shattering changes to the national setup for that to happen. What if it turns out this entire AAR was just a prequel to The Great War?![]()
