Good, would be a waste of a fine model otherwise

TBH I was quite surprised at the addition of so many minors, even after the last OPM pack. Most of these nations don't exist after 1500, and we still have countries like Ming, Denmark, Norway, Hungary, Serbia/Bosnia, Wallachia, so on and so forth that are using vanilla models. Its probably too late a design decision, but with so many nations I'd have done culture packs for some places rather than specific OPMs, like the units extended mod does. At least then I wouldn't be adverse to, say, forming Italy as Milan because its going to flip my models back to the vanilla ones which are starting to looked dated against these newer, detailed ones.

Until then, we have some lovely mods from Breese and GM_Kaiser :)

I'll check them out! I'm still using SaintDaveUK's even though its out of date. And that is perfectly fine, I've just been pondering the whole choice of nations since Ulm got its pack and wanted to express it somewhere. Its probably more based on what players are playing than anything else which is sensible enough, I just giggle when those old eastern musket models come up against the shiny spanking European major's models.

Breese has the Scandinavians filled out along with Italy, and GM finished off France, Prussia, Brandenburg, Germany, and the HRE

These units look great Carlberg, but what of the Evangelical Majors? What of the Swedes? What of the French? WHAT OF THE PRUSSIANS! And the Catholic Majors? What of the Austrians? What of the Spaniards? What of the Poles!
I don't know if Carlberg would know. He is an artist and that decision would be up to marketing :/
Things like release dates of new packs and such Is indeed above me to decide, but I do prod about these things just as much as you do here on the forum and have raised the question quite a few times myself. Trust me that there's plans and it has not been totally forgotten in the ether.

Well if that's the case, Mr. Calberg, I hear that some of the North African Units, due to popular protest, are getting a makeover. Could the Polish Units (not to mention the Ottomans & Byzantines), specifically Tier III and IV likewise be edited? Don't wanna sound like I'm beating a dead horse by re-posting this, but just wanna make sure it's constantly on your alls radar ;)
Ah the polish units, those were one of the first units I worked on when I was hired by Paradox in 2014. As it is right now they aren't really scheduled to be fixed, when made they had to follow the dynamic colors that were applied, and the blue wasn't in the palette for Poland/Commonwealth then. We were a bit more conservative with giving 'hard colored' textures to units, that is, painting the color into the texture, and thus preventing dynamic coloring. I've seen this post come up a few times though and I can raise the question if we might be able to go back and look at it. I can however give no promises that it's a change that will happen, or when it would be done in such a case. For now it's a fix that might be up to modders to look at.

The reason Ulm in particular and not some other German minor close to it was included most likely is due to Glory to Ulm. (Famous EU3 AAR which the devs also liked.)

It must be tough to choose between dynamic colouring and historically accurate colouring. Personally I would like both or at least improvements to the dynamic colouring system to make it work better.

On another note, I've asked this before but never got an answer. Could you please add the old tier 3 Italian units back into the unit pack for modders to use? When you changed them the old units were completely removed and there are still quite a few people who would like the old tier 3's to be the tier 2's and the current tier 2's to replace the tier 1's.

@Carlberg I'm sorry to keep asking this, but could you or someone else who can please confirm if you've added the old tier 3 Italian models back into the DLC for modders to use? This is something I really would like so please can you consider it. The original models were great to be used as tier 2 and it is a shame that they're gone without the choice of which one to use.

So, I know this has probably been explained a million times already, but the 'Evangelical Majors pack' that I already have is, in fact, a different pack, but we'll get it tomorrow?
The one you got was a misnamed Catholic Majors for Spain, Austria, and PLC.
This Evangelical Majors will be for France, Prussia, and Sweden

If the content packs contain sub-packs (North-African, Hordes, etc.), why are they not sold that way? I would prefer to pay less for less content, when I won't ever see some of the sprites.

@Catalack will we get to see renders of the new Danish unit(s)? Is it just tier 1? Also are any other nations getting sold alongside the Danes? Really hoping my wishes are coming true and you are going to start doing unit packs outside of major DLC releases :D

Can you tell me why I couldnt cloning units from the italian and german princess unit packs to minor states like Brabant, Liege etc.
Unlike the last 2-3 dlc(I think in Cossack dlc its working yet), just the oldest unit packs can be cloneable.
Is it possible to solve this issue because I like to add to the minor nations more unique look.

We've not added anything to make units un-clone able, if you're adding clone code through a mod or right into the game, it might be that the clone needs a 'version = 2" row or similar to make sure it overwrites the original unit assigned. The error log tends to tell if there's a conflict of units.
