As for gameplay:
Sterkarm pursued a scutage policy that was irresponsible at best, and mobilizing all Flanders regiments may cost him a duke if he doesn't compensate properly.
The bubonic plague has riddled the Duchy of Flanders and income is barely positive without regiments mobilized.
Won't be playable with some players, for sure.

As for gameplay:

First thing I would like to mention: FIX/KILL ROUTERS!
Anyway, assuming that people can get ridd of the router problems this can be a fun game. Why was Savoy ping-pongin Assassination attemts right there at start? :rofl:
In the end 4 people were running without crashes, and rehosts in CK feel quicker than in EU2. Maybe this is just because Slagos is a hell of a host.
Burgundy got plage all over the place as well, but in the end it the first provs got rid of it. Income is substantially lower, partly due to our King. I will refrain from blaming him though for now, as I caused the last war in this session. Lets see what marbels he keeps for himself in this Crusade. Btw Sterk, those 2 Provinces you so "generously" settled me with in Africa were plundered, right? Vive le Roi? Meure le Roi! :wacko:
I think Slargos you and I will have to undertake some private crusde without our meddling King.

A pitty Johan could not join us, but I guess he found himself a belgian beer or ten, which surely made him happier.

Good, me too. Was a fun testrun though, albeit a bit messy.
No, I think we should continue, we'll always have problems, and I've done my best to help out those who were unavailable by handing out titles to them as well (Jark). Also, if Johan is going to play, once we conquer the Holy Land, I could create a duchy for him, right around Jerusalem.
About scutage, I shall lower it after the war is over, and, by the way, you will and already have gotten land for nothing but your scutage and, very rarely, your troops. Once the reinforcements reach Jerusalem, the Duke of Flanders shall be sent to Mallorca.
Also, about the war, there is no way we can sustain this war for a long period of time. Hopefully we can secure Jerusalem and a bit of surrounding territory, enough to make a path to Egypt, and once we have done that as well as take most or all of Egypt, we will peace.

Regarding routers I would say it is ignorant to blame them (or the use of them). I e.g. had two single crashes of which one was due my dynasty actually dying. Jarkko obvioulsy had other problems. Be free to blame peoples connections but leave the routers out of this!
Well, actually I do have an opinion on the matter now
I think we should restart so that we get Johan and Mowers in from the start. We should also slightly edit the scenario, ie make the duke of Brittany a bit younger (how old is he anyway?) and make the Duke of Normandy the bastard son of the King. Much more suitable for MP then, IMO
EDIT: Oh yes, if we restart, somebody better come up with a cool name. If the naming is left to me the game will be called "Wednesday evening game, a new try"

I was enjoying being King so much... but perhaps we could have some player, maybe Johan, as King of France? Even though my son would be a bastard, I wonder what happens when a player plays the first in line to inherit another player... probably crash. I think we should somebody as King though, I really do like it a lot better. But, he should have semisalic primogeniture instead of salic?
EDIT: By the way Jark, your duchy is in good shape, you didn't have to experience the height of the Bubonic Plague as we all have, and I did grant you many counties in North Africa, and I think I may have granted you a ducal title. That's why I think we need a King, so that the vassals are actually vying for favor in the eyes of the King.

I agree a King does add flavour to the game. It might also be better to place all players within France - the Lorraine and Savoi players gets a little bit outside of the action. Anyone knows good counties that are vassals of France directly?Sterkarm said:
