Hey Devil! Are you playing in this game? I just asked here because it was the most recently active thread :D
hehe no I play this game I play two others, the sunday and tuesday game. But its loads of fun :)

Damn I missed you, great to see you again :)

Well, all (except Joohoo) got the save, so we can continue easily next week :) We are now in 1365, so we can soon convert this to EU2 and see what the map would look like there :p

Damo: IMO, CK MP is *fun*. Even the most powerful player can be brought down by the AI in correct circumstances, and add to that the human hyenas around, and the experience is a real hair-raiser. But mostly fun :)

Well, I played as Flanders today. Loads of bad news about it, but something good also. First of all, you have just one heir as before, but he is a madman. He is fortunately married to sister of king of Germany though. Plagues ravaged Flanders, but as we ended only Nevers, Yperen and Reims had it. Brugge also gained immunity to Pneumonic plague (in addition to Bubonic immunity) so Brugge as the richest prov, is clean from those two. Gained Kent in a war with England. Gained duke titles of Picardie and Auvergne from king by killing some rebels and giving king 500 gold. Possibly gained duke title of Anjou from king too, host CTD:ed in may of last year, so we returned to jan, so I am not certain about Anjou. Did not lose any vassals or land. Managed to keep BB in low levels (<1.5). Built couple of universities and a grand shipyard, which will boost research nicely. I suppose that is all.

:D

I'll need to see about getting in one of those games!

Aldo,

Sounds right up my ally! Except for the backstabbing part. I've never done that :p

Oh yeah, it is full with power fluctuations and especially backstabbing. That's all Jarkko, the writer of the EU2 code of ethics is about in this game :). First defected to England to force me to give him a county, then defected to Germany to force me to give him his king title back.

Well played by Jarkko!!!

Hey, my ethical code describes what is (IMO) playing according to the game-system, and how players should not abuse the game-engine.

In CK, if my liege is a Kinslaying Excommunicated Bastard towards whome I have zero loyalty and who is loathed by every follower of Christ, it is perfectly ethical to look around if there *really* is not something better out there. If the former liege then asks me to come back if he grants land, *of course* I have to consider the option. If this Kinslaying Excommunicated Bastard liege then later snaps a legal title out of my hands (and which I then legally Usurp with basically no prestige cost) *and* is then threathened to be slain by this Kinslaying Excommunicated Bastard, *of course* I then have to look again if there is a liege who can protect me.

If Brittany had been an AI vassal of France, Brittany and the other AI vassals would have eaten the Kinslaying Excommunicated Bastard ages ago.

I know, I was simply kidding... by the way, since I'm so evil and have so much prestige, I think I'll just assassinate you and all your kin :D.

All, just noticed that I have save from 23rd of February. Ie we lost just about two months. You can download the save from here.

Well, all who stil remain the vassal of this mad king now can see what awaits them. The King is (acording to his own words) an evil excommunicated bastard who will assasinate anyone he pleases. Luckily for me I am a King, and Kings are hard to assasinate. But you dukes of Flanders, Upper Lorraine and Brabant, you will be in problems with your "King". If you need protection, please do contact me, or my ally the German King; protection will be arranged.

Btw, now that assasinations were mentioned, four well placed accidents will put my son first in line for the crown of France...
