You (and allies) will keep whatever you got from Poland, and you relations with the soviets take a hit. A while later, URSS receives an event that generates either further decrease of relations or outright war.

Just a question - Are post colonial nations in Africa and Asia (examples, like Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.) in the mod, and if so, how does one release them and when it is available to do so? Is it possible any date? I am currently looking around and for countries like Britain, France, the "liberate nation" or "release puppet" options are greyed out. Just wondering. Great game so far guys, really enjoying!

Yes, they are greyed out because you have claims or cores over the territory (view in diplomatic view), you have to remove claims first to liberate (claims = territory you consider cores, but the people living there don't). You can remove claims by right clicking the province/area/region and selecting remove claim. You cannot liberate core territory.

Ah, okay! Makes sense. It's been SO long since I've played any iteration of Hearts of Iron II, good to find this out. Thanks, mate.

I know that dissent doesn't affect AI industry, but does it affect their units like it does to the player?

Hello and thanks for the game!, but it seems that I am unable to rename units. For example I want to rename "1st Division" to "Tough-guy Explosion Division" I end up with "Tough-guy Explosion Division 1st Division" an I am completely unable to delete the "1st Division" part. Any help?

Click on the division name, then hold DELETE until the entire name is gone. Then type your division name. Once you are done, click somewhere on the map. Go back to the division. It should have the name you chose.

How the hell do Diplomacy Modifiers work? Let's take Influence as an example. Is 113(100) better or worse than 13(100)?

"So you can leave your troops with low strenght and then move to Partial Mobilization, they'll get a good amount of strenght istantly."

-> strength instantly

Just minor nitpicking...

Wouldn't it be better to have this stickied in the main forum? Tech support really is the last place I'd be looking for it. They're basically all gameplay questions.

I don't know whether this is the right place to ask, but, Should I buy DARKEST HOUR now or should I wait for the release of HOI 4?

Thanks - David

DH is cheap, and a great game. I'd say definitely try it out!

How do the army compositions work? I mean, how do I determine if an army is a 'corps' or an entire field army?

Is planned to get more county tag for next patch? It could be useful to make longest mod as joining the grand campaign and modern scenery. With e3 map is possible generate things as communist guerrilla in Latin America
