I've confirmed now that HIP works with 2.1.2 (beta patch was made into regular patch earlier today).

But it broke my ironman saved game I had going. Anyway to covert back to 2.1.1? The beta patch goes back only to 2.0.4.

Bite the bullet and make a new game with 2.1.2. The final patch fixes some major bugs the beta patch did not and actually implements some pretty cool stuff, like the character finder improvement.
 
My game is crashing periodically--usually about ten years in--when using HIP. For some reason the log is showing missing VIET immersion stuff:

I keep refreshing this page every 10 minutes,can t wait for the new release?It will contain a new SMHW map no ?

I assume that this means you're running the 2.0.4 branch and the 03-28 final release of HIP for SoA. Sorry, but we really can't afford to support the old branch actively if it's not immediately obvious. It's meant to be there as a more a stable alternative during the maturation of both the mods and the base game since the release of RoI. Since we'll have an update out within the hour that includes VIET Immersion for RoI and many bugfixes for all major mods both pre- and post-RoI in origin, I'd suggest you try upgrading to the new 2.1.3 branch and installing the 04-12 HIP release to see if your issues are resolved. We're in a better position to support that if not.
