Early beta builds of 2.0.4 had 2.0.3 displayed in the launcher, so I'm not sure.

Try using the latest release (7.1.10), it should solve your problem.


If you upload your save, I can try converting it for you. Should work if you haven't used any non-Steam mods.
Thank you for this, yes I'd really appreciate that. The save game is attached. I used the mod Invictus. I have DLC's on CK3 but no mods.

You'll have to unpack this in your CK3 mods folder. On Windows that would be documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod, but I don't know the path for Mac.

Hello !

I don't know if it's normal or not, but when I try to run my converted save from I:R into CK3, I don't have the choice to load my campaign it's basically vanilla CK3...

I may have botched the conversion since it's my first one so I'll upload the save and the log to see if someone can find the problem.

For reference I used the invictus mod and the timeline extension for invictus

Hey, I am 250 years into the CK3 part of my megacampaign, converted from IR, and I have run into a bit of an issue. Everything in the conversion worked fine, but in the mod it created I am unable to change tenets in my religion when reforming, I CTD every time I click the tenets in the reformation screen. At first I attributed it to mod-conflict, since I use a fair bit of other mods in the game, but I ran a test with only the converted file and nothing else and still had the issue.

Is this a known issue? And this might be the wrong place to ask but is there a way to edit tenets, like save-game editing, console commands or something? Something that will let me bypass the vanilla tenets screen since that seem to be the issue. I'm not willing to start over the game if this issue is inherent to the save, I guess I'll just have to live with it, but I wouldn't mind cheating to make it more interesing.

Hi, something went wrong during the playset creation. I will add more logging to a future version to have more info about the issue. In the meantime you can add the generated mod to a playeset yourself.

Hi, did you restart the campaign after disabling the other mods? Disabling them mid-campaign won't fix the issue. Also, which faith did you try to reform?

Yes, this is the wrong place to ask general CK3 questions.

@histoh please try converting with new version 7.4.0, it will give me more info about your problem.
Well after another conversion it seems to work and when I tested the converted game it didn't cause any crash whatsoever.

Maybe there was a problem when I downloaded the converter file last time and I didn't notice...

Anyway thank you for the help !

I think it got overwritten. I thought you previously uploaded just the beginning of the file, but it was everything. Please run the conversion again, so it contains this error:

The log.txt file will be much bigger after the conversion.

So it worked this time but after selecting the new playset and starting the game and when I select a new game I have the normal map. I mean is not working. It is the map of the classic game. Not the converted map. I attach here the log.txt file.
1. Check if the mod is actually in the playset.
2. Please try specifying a custom output mod name (without dots) in converter frontend options tab. Maybe the launcher rejects dots now.
3. Please upload your Imperator save.

I think the mod not loading is some issue on your end. I converted even without specifying a custom output name and it generated a playset with the mod and loaded just fine.
Do normal CK3 mods work for you? Also, maybe reinstall CK3.
