That's not really true. Plenty of cities have 100k or less citizens in real life. Their just not GIANT cities. But a city of 120k citizens is plenty enough for city status practically and municipally.
Players of Skyline come from all over the world, each region is different. In my country, China, a population of 120000 can only be considered a small town, while regular prefecture level cities have a population of over a million. The largest city has a population of 26 million

But you'll agree that China isn't the best example, as they have enormous-sized cities, which are unimaginable in most parts of the world

Tokyo has 14 million people. Bangkok has 9 million. Jakarta has 8 million. Sao Paulo 12 million. There are lots of big cities. And even if it were only China - so what? Chinese cities are still real. Do you think Chinese cities are somehow invalid?

They're not 'invalid,' whatever that means, but they're not a typical representation of how cities develop in the rest of the world. A relative handful of cities in the rest of the world have been centrally planned, designed and built, whereas there seem to be a large number of them in China.

CS II's buildable map size is 171.3km2. Only 4 cities in the world have more than 2 millions inhabitants and could be built on a CS II map:

Bandung (Indonesia): 3.075.478 (167 km²)
Quezon City (Philippines): 2.960.048 (166 km²)
Chittagong (Bengladesh): 2.582.401 (155 km²)
Paris (France): 2.187.526 (105 km²)

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_proper_by_population_density

That doesn't mean CS II doesn't need to be optimized. Of course it is. Right now, even with the most expensive hardware, you can't build a 500K pop city without having to let the game run unattended overnight. But asking for a population of more than 3 millions on 171.3 km² is irrealistic.

Edit: I'm sure some people will be suprised to learn Paris is one of the most dense cities of the world (if I remember well, it's the 8th most dense capital city). ;)

Edit2: I remembered well. Paris is the 8th most densely populated capital city and the 1rst western one: https://www.lejdd.fr/Politique/oui-paris-est-lune-des-villes-les-plus-denses-au-monde-mais-3945658

Avec 20.754 habitants par kilomètre carré, Paris se classe en effet très loin devant New Delhi (5.855 habitants) et New York (7.101 habitants). Cette densité fait de Paris la 8e capitale la plus dense au monde, derrière Manille (Philippines), Bagdad (Irak), Dacca (Bangladesh), Port-au-Prince (Haïti), Katmandou (Népal), Malé (Maldives) et Damas (Syrie).
With 20,754 inhabitants per square kilometer, Paris ranks far ahead of New Delhi (5,855 inhabitants) and New York (7,101 inhabitants). This density makes Paris the 8th densest capital in the world, behind Manila (Philippines), Baghdad (Iraq), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Kathmandu (Nepal), Malé (Maldives) and Damascus. 但是你会同意中国不是最好的例子,因为他们有巨大的城市,这在世界上大多数地方是不可想象的
From the game plan of Skyline 2, it doesn't seem like a small city, with various landmark buildings, factories, and commercial planning. This is not the scale of a small city,
Players come from all over the world, some like to build small cities, while others like big cities like Tokyo, New York, Shanghai, etc. There are many corresponding players, and there is no uniform standard,
Due to the current hardware limitations, we are forced to limit the scale, but we still hope that the official optimization can be done better.

Oh man. Something totally unrelated but just remind you your reference become Chinese which original English.

If you look at a list of the planet's most populous cities, you'll see they're all over, so I'm not sure it's fair to say that large cities are China-specific: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_cities
Just sort it out correctly. And it is on a thousands of kilometers and CS2 map have buildable area of 172 km2

"Correctly" is not the word you mean. We could quarrel about whether it makes more sense to sort by total pop, area, or density as compared to CSII's playable area and population limits but selecting a single approach as authoritative is a little silly (especially when you consider that the simulation's population and job figures are all highly abstracted compared to real-world building [and in particular skyscrapers] footprints and usage.

My point, as I think you must've understood, was that large, dense cities are not unique to China on the globe. You wrote earlier that cities on the scale of some found in China were "unimaginable in most parts of the world." (underlining added)

This is simply and demonstrably not the case. I don't know where you live but the view you were expressing earlier is rather Western-centric and, I daresay, somewhat ignorant.

I'm sorry I sounded ignorant to you. What you wrote makes sense and I think you're right at the end

Now with that out of the way, I want to ask you: What are the improvements you want to see the most? Which bugs are the most frustrating to you?
Better support of large cities. I need for a city with 1,1 Millions Cims 156 primary schools!

Large stations for public transport: Railway stations with 6-10 lines instead of 3. Larger stations for subways and trams to change between the lines. More integrated transport hubs: subway station with bus stops, railway stations with tram stops and so on. Like in Cities Skylines I.
