To keep track of all bugs and issues you are reporting, we created this list to bring back to the team. If you have experienced a bug not already in this list, please let us know in this thread.

Remember to include if you are using mods (and if you do, try to disable them - as sometimes they cause issues) and how to reproduce the bug you are experiencing. Being able to recreate a bug is the first step in understanding what is wrong and how it could be fixed! :)

  • Tyre apparatus can no longer be rotated.
  • Player (Warden) can not use ferries in Warden Mode.
  • Staff and inmates no longer do the eating animation.
  • Fire engine spawns if dismissing fire brigade after dismissing helicopter.
  • The Chinese edition still has half of English words.
  • The Rock will not catch fire or take damage no matter what material or object it is.
  • Stepping stones/pallets interferes with the pathing when trying to create a ferry line after removed.

  • Zone a modded room can cause the game to crash.
  • Checkpoints are cancelling tasks when prisoners are walking close.
  • The National Guard won't dock if helipad is missing.
  • When an informant is on route to the security room and finally arrives, they reset and teleports back to their cell.
  • Visitor booths starting glitching and moving when the parol hearing is over, and the visitors and prisoner switch sides.
  • Some items like the laundry machine or the execution chair cannot be rotated.
  • Guards will not bring food to holding cells or solitary.
  • Change food variety and quantity too low does not work and getting fined multiple times.
  • Larger yards not showing as secure.
  • An issue with Fog of War not disappearing when patrolling.
  • Prisoners Clothing needs are too high after the lastest update/hotfix.
  • Footbridges cannot be built next to each other, there needs to be a gap of 1 square vertically between each of them.
  • Deliveries are inefficient, multiple trucks arrive with each truck delivering only a single tree for forestry.

Visitor helicopter still arrives to take visitors from prison even though I have disabled that option in logistics.

See picture below, the only enabled motion is export

All my visitors arrive by ferries on the other side of the map, but when they want to leave the prison, some of them go to ferries again, but the major part goes through all prison to get to that helipad. If I disconnect all delivery zones from that helipad, the visitor helicopter still arrives and stuck there until I connect the delivery zone back.

Snipers do not go to armoury/security when idle. They get stuck on staffrooms.

EDIT - This seems to happen because the snipers are assigned to a tower guard ID that does not exist. I think this issue occurs when the tower is moved by double clicking or dismantled/rebuilt.

Even with clear access from ferries, routes constantly fail in forestry. Also can't assign any prisoners to work here. Despite having research unlocked.
Edit: nevermind the access thing, but a different bug instead, the seeds got lost in the water, probably because workers got distracted / tired halfway on the ferry and dropped them?
 
Issues with 'The Rock' update ('The Island' DLC NOT installed):

  • Parole programs work only for a single day, and need to be restarted from the Program Scheduler menu everyday.
  • On old saves, janitors do not clean frequently enough. They let too much dirt pile up before they clean, everywhere in the prison. Tested this to make sure that the number of janitors is not a bottleneck. Janitors just keep idling near delivery area most of the time and clean only in short bursts after a lot of filth has accumulated.
  • Prisoners have an extremely reduced need for sleep. Also, literally all the prisoners sleep throughout the assigned sleeping hours even if they have no need for sleep. Not a single prisoner is awake for even a single minute of the assigned 'Sleep' time. This was not the case before this update, there would always be some prisoners awake.
  • Road gates often allow vehicles to pass through them even when closed.

Props and Actors cannot use sprites from the third sprite bank (d_11_2). This makes it impossible to make scenarios with those items.
 
Janitors not cleaning up. I have plenty of janitors and they won't clean even if they are standing in a filthy room. No mods installed and none of the janitors are tired.

I made a video about the warden mode stab vest issue.
To reproduce:
1) Play Warden
2) Take Stab Vest from Armoury
3) Zoom in on the warden and you will see the stab vest is misaligned. This only happens since the Rock with all wardens except standard/default warden (happens with the Lobbyist, Pewiwinkle, female wardens, DLC wardens etc.)

(latter half of the video is when I wear the stab vest, look at the sprite)

Additionally the Elite Mods do not have a warden protection cost in warden mode when they are recruited by the warden. I suggest the cost to be higher than a sniper as Elite Ops are a very strong unit.

Also see the video, the point of the video is to showcase price recruitment differences between different types of guards (top right corner, yellow).

As you can see the costs are the following for warden protection.
Guard - 500$/day
Riot Guard - 1500$/day
Armed Guard - 1750$/day
Sniper - 2500$/day
Elite Ops 0$/day

Elite Ops should have a cost, probably higher than Armed Guard or higher than Sniper

Tazers not always visible on guards or armed guards that carry them. Before The Rock they would stick out from behind.

As you can see, the tazer from the guards is missing when the guard is facing right. While the tazer is supposed to be obstructed, its not supposed to dissapear fully (a small part of it should be visible). This bug only happens since The Rock Update
