Sorry to bother again but I am thinking of downloading Kaiserreich again as I played it few years ago. Are there any significant changes done to the mod now in 2024? Like is is Italy still just two states? Is Poland still regency council? Is Romania finally no longer divided between Iron Guard vs monarchist Romania? As Iron Guard would definitely keep the monarchy as it just makes sense. They are not opposed to it.

Some work I did for Nationalist France. No time to do it now, but still I think it's nice.

Great work on the recent updates. A possible issue with Persia and their Russian railroad event. It keeps firing even if the Russians turn them down, so they pick the 'What do the Russians know, we'll do ourselves' choice over and over.

Also, is it on purpose that the opium epidemic is not firing for AOG? They are in China too....if anything, considering their ruthless pursuit of profits, it might be fun to have either them or the Legation City (Triads) or both keep making the epidemic worse and worse as long as they get paid! Might also make the choices more interesting then if AOG turns into a proto-narco state, considering there's an event chain for Germany to abandon them if China/Japan turns on the pressure.

I thought about ACW prelude. Pretty sure years ago devs were discussing possibility to avoid ACW by other presidents (not just Curtis) simply by being super moderate. Is it idea still being even loosely considered nowadays or just dropped for good?

Good question, but who wants to avoid ACW2? It's the best part. Same with Russian Civil War. If you don't do the civil wars, the game is too easy. Jmo, ymmv

Counterpoint: civil war can be solved quickly anyway and only AI has a problem with this. Besides, it would be nice to see bad boys (or "bad boys") tamed by ballot fo a change.

the fantasy of kaiserreich is to roplay a country and an ideology in an alternative ww2 setting.
A core pillar of kaiserreich is inpredictibility in the ideology flips.

I should be able to roleplay a reformist russia, i should be able to play a totalist russia triumphing from civil war etc...
more choice more power to the player's fantasy.

The latest update was 2 weeks ago, so plenty of kudos to the team for still plugging away even after all these years.

Overhauled Hungary's ministers.

Adjusted Hungary's starting techs, cabinet & OOB.
Adjusted minsters used in Hungary's events.
Added Butochiin Tsog, Jamiyan Lkhagvasuren & Batyn Dorji as leaders/ministers for Mongolia.

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but which is better brigades for marine divisions for assaults. Amph armor, light tanks, artillery or SP artillery ?

There is no one perfect answer. However, I generally use SpArt when available. Otoh, I generally play the big 6 plus I am getting into nationalist China and even among just those nations, arty might be a better choice for Italy due to lower cost and the fact that it doesn't use oil. China won't even be able to use marines for years much less have multiple choices for armor types. You really need to ask in the main DH forum where we can take the time to break down your question.

I somehow feel adding Art to Marines is not historical especially for landing assaults (that's what I use them for). I add light tank brigades.

Lol. Seriously? I am ex-navy. I was a seabee spending much of my enlistment with beachmasters unit 2 out of little creek naval amphibious base. I spent lot's of time with marines and let me tell you, they love their artillery. My nephew is a former marine who spent his whole enlistment in artillery. Trust me. Nothing ahistorical about marines and artillery.

You did a really good analysis there. My gut always told me mtn/eng were decent substitutes for marines for tech poor nations. I am surprised arty was such a poor choice for marine landing forces though. Did you try sparty? Of course I defaulted to that build back in armageddon, obviously I must reevaluate amphibious armor now.
