I had an odd ctD in the middle of a Russian game that now, every time I try to launch KR for Darkest Hour, the game immediately crashes when I select single player. has anyone seen this problem, and is there anyway of fixing it short of a reinstall? Because I'm in Kazakhstan now and internet is not exactly reliable.

Wow! You are from the USA, at the moment you are located in Kazakhstan, have a Hungarian avatar and a German quote in your signature. My friend, you ARE globalised :).

Try reinstalling the mod, if it still doesn't work try re-downloading and reinstalling. If there is still a problem or your connection is unstable I could create you a torrent with the latest mod.

Curious. Is attacking supposed to have a mission efficiency of +80%? It makes whoever attack the winner, everything is just organization and attack...

Dark Archon, Here's a hotfix to add equipment numbers for most brigades and divisions and enables loss tracking. If you find any numbers that seem horribly wrong (and there will be some) let me know.

There's a minor photo inaccuracy in the list of Russian ministers. Chief of the Army Aleksandr Rodzyanko uses the portrait of Aleksandr Kutepov (the latter actually has a different, but accurate portrait used as a commanding general). Here's a picture I found and resized of the actual Aleksandr Rodzyanko (he is listed as M4303 in the game files):

Yeah, it's a long story...but OK thanks I did and I got it working (actually I was still using 1.02 DH and KR, so I upgraded).

Isn't that a mod for vanilla DH, set in a different world than Kaiserreich?

Just a suggestion here, but wouldn't be appropriate for Sweden to have a tech team for mountain divisions? It is Sweden after all, and i would think they would have a tech team for mountain divisions.

Are there any post 1937 Ausgleich events for Hungary? I planning an AAR, and it would be good to know what I have to work with

some election events and a choice to join an alliance or create one of your own

Kr team, what is the ID of the Confederation of Great Lakes?

Kr team, what is the ID of the Confederation of Great Lakes?
It's U32. Just open up world_names.csv from KR's config folder and search for the name.

I am curious as to what chain of events led to ALG being the Tuareg Confederation while actual Algeria is U29. Likewise SOM/Imperial Abyssinia and U40/Somalia. Is Imperial Abyssinia even a thing anymore? I thought that civil war had been removed.

I changed vulnerability and toughness in misc.txt to their correct values in KR 1.4 B1 and I'm wondering if it is WAD that 30 CSX (Qing) divisions of mixed 1921-1936 Mil/Inf (about 60% 1936, 80% Inf) with various models of Art+AC was able to win against 42 JAP 1939 Inf/Mtn/Cav Divisions in 1940 (I had only 89 divisions total, of which around 45 was committed against Japan, JAP + MAN had 93 divisions total) without air superiority and taking enemy bombings at Tangshan and only having 27 max command when attacking from 3 provinces. I was caught up in doctrines though, and did choose ministers to increase leader skill and org regen, so that could be the reason. It was just odd how I could cycle the attackers so that the defenders never stopped fighting while I had a few divisions out of the fight healing and slowly whittling them down to nothing.

I'm also really annoyed at how JAP was able to have all up to date Infantry with only 100 IC while I had 170 IC and NO up to date Infantry due to me being at 100% CP and JAP being at 100% FM (but that's more of a slider thing than anything else) with only 30 IC in production (need for supplies, need for CG, need for reinforcement, everything else upgrade).

Bug reports:
Qing foreign policy chain, new events are broken, specifically:
-Pacification of MON/TIB/MAN chain checks for flags instead of countries existing. Somehow the MON flag was not set, so therefore the chain broke. It should be modified to check for countries existing
-Giving away non-core parts of MON to RUS never happened in my game, since RUS democratically became SOV (no civil war)
-Chain starts too early before other warlords are pacified (lack of checking for non-existence of CXB, CGX, etc). I was dragged into DoWing Tibet when CXB and CYN still existed. Somehow the chain started early due to MON declaring war on me when I was pushing into CHC.
-MAN changes sides an surrendered like twice when I invaded them, except I remained at war with MAN. MAN went with "give up on fighting"->I pressured to join me in attack against Japan->He declined->Japan DoW'd MAN (the event said so anyway), except JAP remained allied with MAN. All that event chain did was return unoccupied territory to MAN which was annoying since it made some of my troops cut off. I remained at war with both MAN and JAP so there is some bug in the chain.
-After the above bug, I got an event offering peace with JAP, which I clicked...except I remained at war with JAP.
-There's some bug with an event added production in some country (I don't know) with IC cost of 0. IC cost of 0 doesn't get built by the AI, and upon save game load it also throws a savedebug error. Just fyi.

(Other odd occurrences was that USA won the civil war even though it got reduced down to 40 IC and holding only New England while CSA had 60 IC and AUS had 60 IC as well. It was a weird game with MEX vs PSA, PSA vs USA, AUS vs CSA vs AUS. Canada did not take over New England or puppet it either. PSA puppeted MEX funnily enough)

The Touaregs (using the ALG tag) are part of a very early chain on KR. They've always used that tag, no need for a change. U29-Algeria was added two years ago or so as part of the African Liberation chains (the Internationale wins the Eurowar and decides to sponsor independence movements in NatFra, Mittelafrika and the Portuguese colonies).

The other thing I've noticed a bit with KR is how Germany stands literally zero chance against France + Soviet Russia. Why? Because the attack values are now 180% instead of 100%, which mean's Germany's Siegfried Line of Fortresses gets overrun in weeks rather than months and hence France never "bleeds out". Then the German AI, because it is outnumbered, keeps defending rather than attacking, and hence always defends with a -80% mission efficiency relative to the attacker.

This needs to be fixed in the next version.
