Try downloading the mod again (perhaps the original file you downloaded was broken).

After installing, you should see at least the following folders:

Well i got the mod installed, and it i believe it was the real deal because the picture icon appeared next to the mod in the launch menu. but as its loading this happens: critical error.png

which ever option i choose the game just shuts off?

I am getting an error which says that it cannot find the divisions.txt? Anyone know what could cause that?

is it just me, or does this mod get eventless and boring some 20 years into the game?
By that time a single faction usually 'wins' the game. Not to mention due to the complexity of the game, its very difficult to plan events for what may or has happened.

Usually go for your own plans.
 
Hmmm, having reinstalled KR 1.04 Beta again and again I have now pinpointed the problem to DarkArks SKIF for KR 0.99 but I do not understand why. Whenever I use them (overwriting the models included within the folders of course) the game crashes once the ACW begins. Can anyone explain this strange behaviour to me?

Edit: Further testing has revealed the following. When extracting the contents of the DarkArk SKIF pack, there are about 1000 files he wants to overwrite, the rest are genuine and new. If you do not overwrite those old files with the new ones, you get a strange mixture of Basic KR unit sprites and the new SKIF ones, however, for reasons as of yet unkown to me, the game also begins to destroy the province tab image and displays every province name in the left side interface tab with a red error sign of sorts. Something very strange is afoot here, gentlemen.

Depending on the event/decision that starts the Franco-German war, the Union of Britain has a small chance to stay neutral.

If France goes to war over the banning of that German workers organisation for example, the Brits have a 10% or even 15% chance to not support them against Germany IIRC.
 
This is getting more and more bizzare. Having used the basic KR 1.4 Beta 1 models folder for my game the ACW starts up and works normally all no problem. Now, whenever I only add those SKIF files that are new and do not overwrite anything the game crashes at the Onset of the ACW. Why? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE FILES? Any opinion from the others?
 
So annoyed that I couldn't directly intervene in the Spanish Civil War for unspecified reasons (actually unspecified non-agression treaty), as France used 'acceptall' to make the CNT-FAI join the Internationale and thus so I could help them. The Germans send an ultimatum to back down (why is this event existant if you can only join the war through cheats anyway); but then nothing happens, as if there was no ultimatum, and thus the CNT-FAI wins the war with Internationale intervention, and Germany does nothing. I am glad it happened that way, but still sounds like a glitch if you don't want me to directly intervene (why?).

Also Germany does nothing if the Internationale invades Austria, after Socialist Italy wins the war against Catholic Italy. I found no event in the log or anything. I guess it worked in my favour again, but it's weird.
