No, I was Italy until you restarted, when I wasn't there, nobody told me about anything and I was waiting two hours in V-net on anybody.

Then I went to sleep as I have a schooltrip to Italy until next Saturday evening and we start on 6:00 to Venice.

Now could one at least tell me anything next time, like you have a rehost and post that here?

And tell me that Italy still lives and is ok?

I did not bring up the restart at first, Bin did.

Also, I was told this by someone else, as I said. I made no claims to knowing it for sure for myself.

What you tried to achieve marrying oldtimers? Getting senile yourself? :confused:

Oh, in that case, whoever it was should repeat the stuff to you as it really took place, not give their version. :p

@Joohoo: No, first 2 times I married for marriage duty (total from both was around 120 ducats IIRC). Then I think bin called attention to it, so I apologized for the exploit and promptly married a woman of child-bearing age and I swear I won't use that exploit again. :eek:o If anyone still has issue with that I will have bin edit 200 ducats from my treasury as punishment.

And CSK, while we were still in v-net I checked on 2 separate rehosts if you were on ICQ, guess I might have missed you then.
 
CSK: We checked for you on rehosts and you were never there, and then we played nonstop for a few hours, I guess those were the ones you were waiting.

Sabaron: I can now tell the plan behind Nubia and once you read it, you'll see how your fast thrust towards Jerusalem doomed me.

I tested Nubia several times in SP and the tactic was:
- wait till Fatimids start disintegrating and crusade starts
- immediately eat enough muslims you become on par with Fatimids, or you're dead

What happened ingame surprised me as Fatimids stayed almost intact.
The guy had a good chancellor and a good spymaster - extreme luck, that saved him from being assasinated along with spymaster and chancellor.

Next, crusades started and it was my time - I moved in to pick up the only rebellious count and was waiting for you to decimate their armies. What you did however, was ensured the crusade will stop, which I noticed and decided 'alea iacta est', because if crusade would end, I would be doomed as Fatimids had claim on me (recently taken province).
Unfortunately for me, the armies still hadn't got to you and been slaughtered.
I held of 6k troops with my 2.5k brave men due to proper teching and army composition, but lost some 500 to attrition and 8k more came in.

In short - first crusade was Nubia's first and only shot at survival..:)

While Im pretty sad about it and would like a Nubia game, I will continue playing as Bohemia - a strategically important position.

I did bring up restart, yes cause 2 players switched realms after screwing their own and I completely lost one.
We're not supposed to screw our own realms nor run from a lost cause as it's a shame to lose to an AI unless he's 20 times bigger (as in my case).

We're going on tho, as other players seem doing quite good, the best being you, Kujy and Kiev..;)
 
Ah, that time, I somewhat remember talk of it. As for me being in a good position, have you seen the Muslims down in Iberia? Once they're done with Catalonia they will surely be coming after me. *scared*
On another note, did Joohoo officially drop or are we waiting for him to make an official statement of sorts? ;)
 
He didn't drop, he just went panicking and switched to wrong realm, then realised it and dropped.
He'll be back in Georgia next time I hope.

i'm not doing *that* good I may have Kyiv and Novgorod so I'm that much closer to gain Rus. However I have realm duress which happened for NO REASON and it's going to take some time to fix it. How does one fix realm duress?
 
Realm duress never happens for no reason, you know.
It's just you still havent learned the reason..;)
 
how are we needing more players? isnt CK crashing if we have more then 12?
 
It seemed so, but it's not proven yet.

We could always try 15 players, if 3 does not connect, we know the magic number is 12.
 
Yeah, but somehow I think we'll never be more than 12 anymore..;)
