Cheeky bastard!:D

Bin, if you still happen to be bouncing from place to place on the May 7th session, then you might as well sub for me (if you want/can, that is). It's my youngest brother's First Communion, so there's the church thingie I have to attend plus we're entertaining relatives from Canada. No possible way I can make the session, and no conceivable way I can get out of my family obligations either unfortunately.

c'mon! bad enough having to deal with the threat of poland!

I say Joohoo becomes Georgia again, there problem solved.

As an aside though I think I should get King of Rus and I wouldnt mind a few russian players as vassals that way I can macromanage rather then micromanage.

like for as long russia is green and i'm king of rus i dont care who owns what under me.

besides I hurt ponsk badly while they were at war with pere :D

Sid, this isn't a game of "let's assign people the titles that they want". This is a game of warfare and cunning. This is my type of game (well, the former at least, not so great at the latter ;)). Here's the thing: I was tired of last game being just an AI-bash, so now I'm gonna bring player vs. player war to the forefront. You've gotta fight for the Kingdom of Rus. You'll have to fight for it until Poland can fight no more. It's simply the nature of the game.

Also, bin, as a Russian prince, I highly doubt you'd be made an unwilling vassal. In fact, you could profit greatly from fighting with either Poland or Kiev in the coming war. If either Poland or Kiev were to vassalize you forcibly, the other would intervene immediately, so I think you have little to worry about in terms of vassalization. However, I'm really disappointed that there's no more Georgia or Hungary or Pereyaslavl.

Good said Sterkarm.

I thought of those 3 too and I expect that Georgia will be there.
Pereyaslavl is badly screwed - checked it.
Hungary player was around but dropped, maybe better luck next session, eh..

I could probably play as Georgia again.

I left them because I thought I started that doomed war VERY early, before autosave. Oh was I wrong. :D

Well it only hurt myself as I missed playing the last piece of session.

I have a question of all of you to ask. I have been messing with our last save point and such and playing with other countries. Our first session I never had the chance to play and really join in the game.

I would like to ask if all of you would not mind if I became the King of Byzantium. I have played them in scenario and In no time my couintry will be swarmed with Turks as they had just begun a war with them. Not to mention the costs of my armies would put me in massive debt, and I will have to establish the Komnenus as the constant family rulers. So there will be alot of turbulence and just surviving at this point in the scenario will be tough. I would like to give it a serious try though and See if i can keep Byzantium alive and still stand strong against the infidels after it is said and done.

pere is seriously hurted, but i played it on sp a while and managed to recover a bit, the thing why i dropped the country is because i could never get proper data, i don't know if this bug happens to everybody, but it really sucks to be on a war and to have a screen that says you have a 11k army and when mobilize you have a 4k! or when i thought i had a last chance with my supposed 6k army to have 1k...
If really needed i can go back to that country but if i see that the bug continues i will change back to sweden.

i have no objections.

I'ld be much happier if your Sweden or Hungary/Bohemia :)

Well, did you mobilize your entire realm? As in all your vassals and your vassals' vassals (the latter doesn't apply I suppose as you were a duchy). If not, then that's the problem. Also, yes, display problems are rampant throughout CK, especially in terms of province mobilizations. The bar may be halfway full, but you can only mobilize about 20%. It's kinda random.

Richard, I have no objections towards you being Emperor of Byzantium. I just hope that we will have some Scandinavian powers sometime though (but by the looks of the game so far, we'll have quite a few realms dead soon ;)). But if you want to be Byzantium, go for it. I'd rather have a Hungary, however. It's up to you.

Insane is still Hungary, I don't recall him dropping completely from the game.

Ah, my bad. Hopefully he's still in it. If you're reading this, Insane, please post. :)

Sterk, it appears this bug is consistent in Pereyaslavl.
During the war I watched his provinces and it said me crazy amounts of troops, while there were not.
The same did I expierence in the game before restart, the strangest thing being this bug disappearing after I got Rus.

Im okay with Byzantium as long as Seljuks get most of Anatolia - we need Ottomans down there in EU2, don't we? ;)

:celebrates: But how will they survive all this time? It is close to 400 years they must survive in Anatolia.

Lurken, there's no need for sarcasm.
If you think there should be no Byzantium, tell your argument so we can discuss and come to a conclusion..

Sarcasm?

Darn this Internet, and the loss of the subtleness! I think that Byzantium is good, but you pointing out that it would be fun with OE in EU2 is something I strongly agree with. If it was read as anything else, I'm sorry.

Ok, well, they'd survive easily if there's no Byzantium as noone will have claims on their territory and crusade will be called at Antioch at best, which will most probably miss Anatolia.
The biggest threads to Ottoman survival I see are:
- Byzantium
- Georgia
- KoJ
- ILKH
