Next, me and Germax have made various agreements for our postwar borders assuming we win, being that considering it is impossible given the confines of the game to claim territory, make a fake war and then make peace is next to impossible for all our agreements it will require an edit to do them, which will be done at the end of the war/end of session.
Also, because assuming we win, will be demanding all of Poland's Russian territory it will work this way we will repledge and then he will give me all of his Rus Duke titles, count titles, and whateve rother territory we decide to add on if he drags on the war for an obscene amount of time. And then he will give Pronsk the Kingdom fo Bolgar Titles (there are no other titles POLA can give PRON i checked) and then give me Rus, and then well be independant.
And finalyl there is the county of Syrj or something on the very top right corner of the map that is an independant county so I geuss we dont need to edit for that since I dont think its possible without the rus title for Poland to get it to rejoin Poland.
And that should be it, unless Poland gives count titles to its Rus provs then itll need a forced edit to comply with the treaty.

*note* me and pronsk mor or less agreed to guidelines as to what needs to be transfered but hasnt been finalized yet, but all of them will nevertheless require edit of the save file to do.

At this point I'd say that is fine with me, I don't think the game engine should limit player interaction. But I await comments from other players before giving final approval.
I would like to point out that this should preferably be a voluntary act by Poland as part of a peace treaty.
btw lurken we didnt play today so nothing happened to Germany, however nextweek barring the deaths of half our members we're continueing.

BTW, for next session I suggest that if we lack any important players, we immediately play the small version of the war, with Poland vs. Kiev, Pronsk, Norway & France. I don't remember whose idea that was but it was a bloody good idea.
Oh and Sid, do you have ck-clean or ck-purge or any of those programs that reduces save file sizes? It would benefit the game a lot if we could get back to smaller saves.

I would say it is "somewhat" faster under normal conditions. But as we have seen in our recent sessions all this can get really messy which in turn results in an even longer delay than dl via vnet.

This "these-are-mine-and-these-are-yours-mentality" does more fit into an EU seeting than into high medieval times with personal oath of fealty etc. On the other side there is no way to prevent "fake" wars as players could always do this secretly.

If you control 100% of your enemy's demesne you can force peace on the other player. This is a given I assume. However, whether this should exceed the ingame peace deal options regarding titles and territory I am not really sure. For example, by this procedure you could happily win a lot new territory whithin a short span of time without investing the normally needed prestige. And as this entire prestige thing is ment to limit turbo exchanging titles and territory I fear this procedure is somewhat counter-productive.

and quite frankly I have serious doubts about the world being able to continue the war for... 30 years? Thats how long I calculated for me to be able to ge enough prestige to claim, Rostov, King of Rus, and some of the other small ones.

We need all the players we can get, so don't drop out just because you feel you can't be here every sunday. Be an occasional player, if it works out better with your real life.
