The EU2 converter is written by fans, so it no doubt has a special case to handle BYZ. The powerful Byz-lobby would hear of nothing less.
That said, things should go faster once we reach EU2, it is (in my limited experience) quite a bit more stable than CK. After all, it's pretty old by now and has had a lot of smoothing by Johan, plus it moves less data around anyway.

On the few MP EU2 games I've played, 4 - 5 hours real time usually converts to around 30+ years game time. I've never experienced a crash in MP EU2 - looks like smoother sailing.

I hope to see more AAR's, Sunday is almost here and I know ya'll have some interesting tales to tell. Think of those poor souls who can't join us every Sunday for whatever reason. Their only connection to the game is through our AAR's, so let's give them what they need.
