Nah, you'll all wait for Norway's return. At this point, the only nations I could see turning and attacking me right now are Burgundy, Naples, and England. France is too far to attack Poland, Hungary needs me as an ally against the hordes (the Il-Khans border me as well), and Byzantium and Jerusalem have to worry about the Il-Khanate.
 
Yup, that is the situation. But does Il-Khan really border you? But then again you have some counts down in the Levant that is still loyal to the polish crown.

the il-khanate borders him, but if he is really attacked, the major mongolian forces will flood me -after they took some polish provinces - not poland ;)

We are running the last bet patch. Bohemia might not be the strongest kingdom around, but there is still some Germany left to absorb:D

I only attack kingdoms who I feel have wronged me in the past and our families are close related through marriage in recent years. Allthough I wouldn't mind if some of the nieces, sisters and daughters I send to Poland would die a natural death...

Having 256K troops, 30K cash and 352 income I am hungry for war though, but as no one ever reads a whole post, also no one knows about this:D

I do now. But hey...I am Iberia...I am a man of peace, except when someone is tilting the balance of power...
 
I am actually quite happy with my borders, the Seine to the south and the duchy of Friesland in the north. Those were my goals at the start of the game for a Greater Netherlands.

Having my kings stewardship go up from 5 to 14, being Burgundy and having no more negative distance events got me from being a 3rd rate kingdom to a 1st tier and I am just flexing my muscles a bit. Please allow me the fun:D

Yeah yeah....oh and btw thanks for Yolande, she gave birth to a 13 stated son in diplomacy and stewardship, thanks. But I still have sucky intrigue for all my kings...grrrr...
 
Thanks, it is always nice to hear when ones hard work is appreciated::D. My breeding program seems to be working finally. Allthough I also still have a lot low intrigue for some of my "patients". I had a Duke with an intrigue of 1 once and his blood still runs strong it seems.
 
Speaking of breeding, it was massively screwed up by this latest craziness in Poland. I had it all planned out, best-statted king I had ever had was about to inherit. Then he becomes stressed and schizo so I desperately try to change my heir but then my king dies oh so soon. Then the schizo almost instantly is locked up for good, unfortunately leaving me no time to appoint one of my excellent rulers as heir. Now I've got an average guy up there, but at least better than schizo.
 
Weekly Game Update


We played at Below Normal for most of the game with 9 players. We played from November 4 1256 to August 14 1267. Current game MAP is up.

The players this session:
  • Blackeye - Emperor of Byzantium
  • Traveler - King of Naples
  • Prime - Duke of Flanders
  • Lurken - King of Castille
  • Sterk - King of Poland
  • cheech - King of France
  • Dom - King of England
  • Ear - King of Hungary
  • Lotus Lo - King of Norway

We had 5 game stops. I’ll list the causes for each stop:
  • Dom CTD, not sure why.
  • All CTD, not sure why
  • cheech CTD, not sure why
  • Lurken CTD, not sure why
  • Sterk CTD, not sure why. Ended session here

Golden Horde wiped out, not sure if we’ll see them again. Il-Khanat still running around. Want to thank Lotus Lo for subbing for KoM. Better on the role-playing. Write AAR’s or be cursed.

Hi guys, sorry for missing the session. I think i'll redraw from the campaign, it's simple to dull for me. Playing 10-15 years a session :wacko:
 
ive seen that my king imram is polish and his heir too. will the culture change back to hungarian? at least the heir´s culture...when he is educated maybe?

It will change back with time, provided that your capitol county is not Polish...

And I am sorry to here that Aladar. I myself find the game VERY interesting, but that may be the difference between being in the thick of things and being at the end of the known world like the KoJ is. Just to let you know though, your lands were the battleground for what looked like a serious defeat to the Il-Khanate. Not as bad as the defeat handed to the Golden Horde, but the Khanate was pushed back at least.
 
IF I'm allowed (stupid life circumstances and all) after subbing for KoM I would like to rejoin back up.... maybe as KoJ now that Aladar is leaving. (boring?!? MP is the only way to go IMHO. I cant even get this far in SP! but, each his own :) )
 
Ofcourse you're welcomed back Lotus. Why wouldn't we let you back in? I mean...talented players is never wrong...
