Yeah, I am not gonna play on Christmas Eve or Christmas, I've got things a bit more important to do. However, if we could set something up during the week or on Friday, that would be great.

Thursday is the best day for me. Wednesday I'm out clubbing and friday a couple of friends of mine and me will play Diplomacy, the board version. And Tuesday might be a short notice.

Apologies for everyone here, but I'd like to ask a question which should be no problem to answer for you:

What makes your characters so strong?
I tracked ALL the kingdom lines back to 1066 and I noticed 1-2 centuries into the game there's slight boost in total base stats.
I reckon it is from prodigy bastards, but how did you manage to keep the boost permanent?
It always disappears in 2-4 generations for me no matter how hard I try.
What bridefinder are you using if any? (Im using Ebbesens and it's a bit tiresome to work with command line - you can't safely alt-tab during MP game).
Is there any other secret?

Also - I take it that if the game is started with the latest beta, you get slightly less chance of those prodigies as there are less bastards born and they're at worse stats (including health). Is this true in your expierence?

Breed for stats for three hundred years, and you'll see a rise whether you get bastards or not. You'll note, for example, that the Yngling kings no longer have stats around 16 or 17, but they are a few points higher than I started out with. Basically, it's because the AI marries for stats, and since the majority of characters never marry, there is a strong evolutionary pressure upwards. So our pool of possible wives gets better, quite apart from anything the players do.

I cannot play on Friday, sorry.

Friday and Saturday are not possible for me... Neither most likely is Sunday... Actually I will take the CK disk with me and if you guys try to play I will try to get it working on the ancient laptop I will have with me.. But Friday whatever may happen is completely out of the question for me...

As for bridefinders, to the best of my knowledge nobody is using any, unless you count "Hey, does anyone have a hot daughter" in the chat. I believe we have a gentleman's agreement against such; you might find it if you look at the early pages of the thread.

Prime has +686% from ruler's stewardship!

If Im allowed, I could take one of the smaller free kingdoms, I heard Cuman and Bohemia are free..

The game might be on for tomorrow, since we have said "the show must go on", and thus we should play. I for one matter has a season-ending with my RPG group with Diplomacy.

Also why is Byzantium performing so poor in this game?
It's the second most powerful country from the gamestart and only gains as the time passes as the multiple thieve guilds over empire disappear if there's sufficent peace.
Also the big court af the beginning should help a lot, especially if there's some breeding effort in addition.

Yes...in the beginning we had Byzantium as off-limits. But after Blackeye in Croatia got annexed by Byzan, we allowed him to take over in Byzan. And since he isn't there always and with troublesome events all the time he hasn't been able to project his power as he sometimes would like to.

If we do this friday Im going to have to bail before 11:00 est. I have work and things I need to do after so I cant ask someone to switch times with me. A night game would work better for me.
