Gentlemen, let me reiterate my earlier suggestion that each of us download the new patch from here. Area bug fix!

Forgot to do that. Doing it now.

Good game, best of all, we kept it civilized, eventhough we probably fighting the bigest war yet, even when the plague is upon us.

Edit: 1111 post...pretty nice...

On this session I might cut it short, since it is a party that I am invited to. The freshmen are thanking the older ones who "n0llade" (translation: "seasoned them in"(?) them. So it's party-party.

'Initiated' or perhaps 'welcomed'. :)
Thanks for your aid, my norwegian brother.

I fear that is rather unfortunate for Bohemia, what with being a minor at war with two Great Powers, even if one of those is currently fighting in its own heartlands. Is there a possibility you could find a sub? I mean, I don't think you can hope to do much more than act as a speed bump for Trav in his rush north to aid me, but you would surely be a better bump than the AI can manage.

Well, I talked to someone about subbing. I don't think he's too experienced in MP, but he's shown interest in joining some of my previous games. His forum name is magicpiper97 and he said he'd get back to me tomorrow with whether he can or not.

Hey, Sterk, how about some response on the dip thread? I mean, you don't have to instantly agree to all my demands and throw in Novgorod, but at least some threatening posturing would be nice. :)

Walk softly and carry a big stick.

Remember guys to update to the latest beta.

Yes, I hope that will be more stable. Though frankly I'm not convinced our troubles were due to the beta anyway, we had a lot of players last session.

11 at one point, right? Well this session we should have the same, maybe one more, I believe.

After 6 months of playing in our MTT game I am gonna bail out. I started in the weakest position of all players on purpose after having been Russia in our last Vicky game. It took me 3 months of play to establish a decent realm, ranking about 3rd on the list at my height of power. At this moment because of six gangbangs in a row, I am last on the list again.

From the moment the that AI Bohemia annexed the HRE, I have been the designated badboy and got declared war on with 2:1 strength when I was lucky. In the whole of the game I have only declarered war on 1 human opponent (gangbang no5, after KoM got a German province through inheritance) and there has been no reason what so ever for this, besides that I am a central and a-historical kingdom.

I am spending my free saturday afternoons/evenings on this game and I am not enjoying being gangbang practice. I am tired of the quest for historical outomes. Its like an unhistorical Burgundundy can't exist. "All former French lands have to go back to the new French player", "Bohemia must become the former HRE and Burgundy is the only one who has to yield land","everything east of Friesland is Norwegian".

The final straw was on being declared war by Italy, Byzanthium, Norway and Hungary - against me and Poland. When you guys where loosing this 2:1 advantage war you promised my lands to France and Spain to made it a 3:1 war.

You guys have beated on me enough to be immobile untill the Dutch revolution in 1568 in EU2 and I am not going to wait that long - with the possibillity of being gangbanged even more, and that has been the only sport you guys have have had for the last 100-150 years.

10-12 sessions of gangbanging Burgundy is not what Paradox meant when they implemented multiplay in their games!

Well enough of this and I hope you will get a replacement for me who will enjoy the "fair" play.

Hi. Just checking in.

Uh, you are workgroup right? Not blackeye?

RP, I agree, being ganged is no fun. Trust me, I've been there many times in this game. However, I've stuck through all the gangs and look how things have turned out for... whoops, bad example. Anyway, what have you really lost? A few vassals? I lost a whole kingdom of about 60 provinces in one gang (I was outnumbered 7:1 if you will recall; England, Norway, Hungary, Byzantium, BURGUNDY, Italy, the Golden Horde and maybe Spain(?)). But even with that loss, I continued on to get back what I lost and more. Another comeback story: Norway. If I remember correctly, they were split into about three kingdoms some 200 years ago, right? Well, now they are the most powerful nation north of the Alps because KOM slowly regained all his land. True, he got it from AI-controlled nations.

Remember, we're continuing to EU2. There is PLENTY of time to both have your vengeance and make peace with everyone.

I have one more point to make here. One of your big reasons for why you shouldn't be ganged a lot is that you've only attacked one human. Now, to me, that's a problem, a big problem with this game. It seems to me that everyone views player vs. player wars as bad for the game. On the contrary, player vs. player wars are and always should be the BIGGEST part of multiplayer. Granted, if somebody's getting too warmongering and are DOWing left and right they should be considered a threat. However, do we want static borders forever? Now that the AI-bash fest is over (and has been for some 90 years, ever since the Mongols were wiped off the face of the earth), player vs. player wars are the essence of the game.
