Guess this is a good a place as any to ask. I've asked in the modding quick questions but no reply. Apparently this mod has already done it so I wish to have a little pointer as to where to get started...
I have my own little mod whereby I wish to mod the diplomacy screen, specifically, the button selections and what can be done by them. I simply need someone to point me in the right direction, specifically, what files need to be modded?

I managed to get a dragon on my Valyrian character (Who is named Aegon - complete coincidence, he was second son and I never knew I could get dragons, he later got the Conqueror nickname) and I'm wondering what will happen to it after it dies. Will it get passed to my heir?
Your children will inherit your dragon after your character dies, yeah. It'll be wild, though.

Inheriting dragon from father (who tamed it) also gives x10 modifier to chances of dragon taming, IIRC.

My daughter is killed by some nobody named Manfred...I'm assuming that I know his name I know he did it. Why are there no negative opinion modifiers on the person who did it? Guess I'll just have to kill every courtier named Manfred to get my revenge. *shrug*

There might be a chance that all the CTD issues that happens when you tried to resign from a game is due to the Bittersteel dynasty. Just a theory.

Crash when resign, and crash when trying to load a save.

I avoided the CTDs that I was having while loading save files and quitting by adding a few ramdom number to duplicated character idson the history files.

Try to do a seach in windows explorer in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\A Game of Thrones\history\characters for the ids 60069, 60169, 22154, 4520356, 5630212, 6007800. find the ones with the least connections and add a few ramdom numbers to it.

Is there anything that can be done to improve the stability of the Iron Throne? My dragon-ruler died, but before he did I installed 3 new Lords Paramount who had like +100 opinions about me. As soon as he dies and his son steps up, all the ones I installed + the ones I kept rebel against him. I had to surrender, wait for my young dragon to grow up, and then reconquer. And I've done this twice now. It's really frustrating. I've also noticed that dragons give no bonuses to vassal opinion. I think they should, since Dragons inspire fear (So less likely to rebel) and besides everyone loved Dany for her dragons. Dragons are good at squashing rebellions, but I don't think they are that good at preventing them from breaking out in the first place :(.

Thanks. Still looking for ANY characters 6007800, though ... much less two.

I must say, I do quite like the very subtle changes to some of the family sigils (Tyrells, Starks etc), and there are some lovely new additions to the randomly generated ones. House Fyreblood and Redwyrm, definitely two of the coolest sigils I've seen.

Also, is there a reason Aegon of Essos cannot marry? I've had this in several versions of the game.

He can marry just fine, I was able to marry him to Arianne Martell. However, the mod has an "In Command" trait for people leading armies which tanks their fertility until they stop leading troops since they're not home to be shagging their spouse - this gives people you can propose marriages to an "Unlikely to have children" malus that's probably causing your problem.

Ah I see. I hadn't realised that. Thanks. No matter, though.
As soon as he won the Stormlands, I happened to be the heir so I took him down and seized all his newly gained land :D

2 things. Stannis always moves his capital back to Dragonstone, which is a stupid thing to do from a strategic point of view. If his capital is Nightfort then no one can take his capital. Dragonstone is easy pickings. 2. Petyr wont betroth Sansa to Harry on his own.. so she should start out betrothed. I think she is set to betroth him later (in the files) but that doesnt matter for Feast bookmark. I demand new bookmark.
