no in the sixth book it is revealed that robert barathenon is a green seer beyond the wall that took over roberts body when he was a boy, we dont know his rela name, but he has a biological child who is also mentioned as still living, thogh of advanced age, so hes registered as robert son.

Presumably, this would also apply to Dark Sister and Blackfyre for the Targaryens?

I know for a fact that Targaryens can get Blackfyre through the Valyrian Sword Quest. Not sure about Darksister or House Blackfyre.

Can you, as the Starks, get a quest to Valyria ambition if Ice has been given to the heir? It would be neat to have two Valyrian swords, one for the King of Winter and the other for his heir.

Yes. If you don't have a sword yourself, you can go on a quest for it. That way, I managed to get my Targs half a dozen swords ... that event chain is too cool XD You will only get Ice, though, if no one with the Ice trait is alive.

You can find every named sword wich is lost with every character.
I found "Dark Sister" as Beric Dondarrion after a battle with one of my vassals (Master of whatever).
The Chance to find the lost ancestrial sword of the own family is bigger, than with random characters.

I believe that in the Wikid event files, the correct dynasty is required to get a custom sword. Else you end up with the normal valyrian steel sword.

The mod is currently bugged. If you have the current version and the right checksum, it's probably not your install. The devs area aware and looking into it.

Last night I tried to make a custom republic to play in this mod and I was told I'm not allowed to play as a republic. Is the mod blocking republics, and if so why? I have all DLC installed FYI.

Is being independent a requirement to use dragons in battle? I'm only able to use mine in siege as Aegon who's a vassal of the iron islands. I tried looking at the decision files but can't figure it out.

Ummm.... was it give_title x_xxxx yyyy (repeat as necessary) that you used to set it up, or did you set it up in the history files? If it was the former, no clue, but setting up in history files can sometimes mess with the playability of a republic if you aren't careful (no idea why, probably just oddities of the system).

If you want a fully set up republic (don't blame you), then either choose a duchy with all sea provinces or individually assign each county. That minimizes chances of screwing up.

They are probably somewhat buggy and non developed ATM, but republics SHOULD work.

There's a cooldown, I think. Also, vassal Aegon? Blasphemy! (Unless you wanted to go raiding with dragons, which is totally cool )

I used give_title to set it up and it worked perfectly, I just got a game over when I tried to actually play as it. I did the exact same thing I've done in vanilla before, so I don't understand what the problem is.

The deploy dragon in battle decision is greyed out in the list (as opposed to not existing at all if it's on cooldown) and once you put your mouse on it it shows not being in whichever province the battle is at is a requirement. Sieges work normally though.

Selecting anything from the save game list is causing the game to crash to desktop. Not even starting the save, simply clicking on it. Using the latest version, installer version installed today, with the save from about an hour ago.

EDIT: Verifying the CK2 install fixed it.

This problem has been reported

there seems to be a history database issue. We shall investigate and probably release a hotfix for it.
