We will try to put a new link as soon as possible.

About the Dothraki, we aim at finishing Westeros (over the wall area) before going there.
But at some point we'll work on them, yes.

I've played this mod for 2 days straight now and I love it. I just have 1 question, when I declare war on a house, and win the war versus them, why don't I get any land/title/money from it? Should I decline the surrender? I've taken Riverrun like 4 times, but Edmund Tully is never there and when they surrender he gets it back and I don't really get anything.

It depends on what you went to war over. If you joined an ally's war, then you probably won't receive anything. However, if you're declaring war yourself, make sure you choose the right Cassus Belli for what you want. For example, if you go to war over a de jure claim on a lordship and win, that lord will become your vassal, but if you go to war over a fabricated claim on a lordship and win, you'll become the lord of that province. Just make sure to read what the victory conditions are for whichever war you are declaring. (they are listed in the diplomacy screen before you actually declare war.

Is there already some kind of mechanic/event simulating things like Joffrey (i.e. a bastard of the rulers wife whom you don't actually know that he's not the rulers son)? I never got why it is always known when your wife bears you a child from a different guy.

Fantastic, I adore the Dothraki in the series and the books.

I can imagine the Dothraki being very interesting to play. Applying the new Muslim mechanics would be awesome, especially if it's possible to adapt the nation naming conventions (i.e name each Khalasar after its Khal). Also give them their own Ironborn Raid CB and a de jure Dothraki Empire - with a Dothraki-cultured Emperor being called "Khal of Khals".

The succession of the Khal would be fun to work with, since they only worship a Khal who can ride. One who can't ride a horse is no Khal of theirs.

I'm about to start a modded game where I've edited all the LP's to be agnatic, and women get inheritable claims (so, for example, Mace Tyrell might hypothetically decide to press a claim on the North for a grandson who was the child of Willas and Sansa). I'm hoping this'll put an end to all the female child LP's I keep seeing.

I don't think the Dothraki should be in an Empire, but I'm not sure how to module the horde given the game's systems.

Edit: Also, are there hideable traits? I mean, are their traits that aren't known to other characters, but are known to the character himself and can be found out through spying/events? That'd be a good way to handle things like homosexuality (it was not like Robert's younger brother, who's name I have forgotten, was openly gay) and the 'bastard' trait (at least when it is the woman who has cheated on the husband).

I think he was referring to a de jure empire, not an existing one. So if one Khal were to conquer the rest, he'd become the Khal of Khal's. That's the way I interpreted it.

The new mirror is up, I just re-updated the link in the first post. Hopefully there won't be any more problems with it.

I was thinking about posting this under general topics, but, in an attempt to reduce the number of random new topics, I'll ask here.

I am a BIG fan of the books. So is a good friend of mine. I have no doubt I will play this mod with him at some point as I love CK2, but my friend has never played CK2 (although I know he's intelligent enough to play it well) and I want to make sure the mod is well polished and ready to be played "prime-time" if you know what I mean.

So that's my question; is it ready enough to live up to expectations? Should I wait for a few more patches? Any advice would be appreciated!

Well, you could always check it out by yourself? :p I'd say it's pretty much live up to expectations though.

Can banished characters end up in landless titles? as if so then essos might be able to be represented off map, but if they cant then probably a couple of the free cities are needed, or just one province off in the mare incognitum as an abstraction of essos for exiles to flee to. As the amount of people who end up on the wall whenever a county gets annexed or etc is just silly. You get whole families serving on the wall.

Hows over the wall going to work?
can events give uninhabitable provinces baronies? as then it could be like it is until the king beyond the wall comes along and then he gets one province and then events or decisions add provinces to him as he unites/expands bringing the lands beyond the wall into a state where they would count enough to everyone else to be represented in the game.

The War of the Usurper period is well balanced and fun to play as one of the Lords Paramount. After that I feel the world tends to go a bit static and the levy numbers start to bloat up too much, though of course you can still set your own goals.

Personally the possible future addition I'm really waiting for is the Others. It's not quite Westeros without an impending winter apocalypse.

I agree completely. Right now, I get about four or five successions in before I get bored and decide to try it all again, but that's not really a bad thing because trying it all again is always a lot of fun!
